"I Didn't Want To Give Up Meat!"

"I Didn't Want To Give Up Meat!"

John and Theresa live in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Theresa suffered a back injury, which led her to the Hallelujah Diet — but her husband took a while to give up the idea of eating meat. After thyroid problems, high blood pressure pills, and diabetes, however, John finally decided the Hallelujah Diet was best for him, too!
“In the summer of 2002, I knew my immune system had deteriorated since suffering a back injury two years earlier, and in desperation, I cried out to God for help. At the time, I could not sleep without Ambien, had had several steroid injections into my spine, was regularly taking Vioxx, Percocet, and Valium for recurring inflammation, pain, and tense muscles. "God answered my prayers through my friend Ruth. She told me about Hallelujah Acres and directed me to their website. I found the website so exciting, I spent hours at the site. The Hallelujah Diet seemed easy enough to follow, plus we already had a juicer. "The very first thing I noticed after the diet change was that I had so much energy. A desire grew in me to visit Hallelujah Acres. My husband had tried the diet with me for a short time, but he really didn’t want to give up meat. I just knew that if I could get him to Hallelujah Acres, he would change his diet also. Finally, in July 2005, we traveled from New Mexico to Hallelujah Acres in North Carolina. The first thing we did was attend the 2-day Culinary Academy Class. Words cannot describe the experience, as our taste buds were so tantalized. I was already a believer, but at that Culinary Academy, my husband became a believer also! Next, we went to the Hallelujah Acres Lifestyle Center in Lake Lure for 5-days. Our hosts welcomed us to their beautiful mountain retreat where we learned how to live this God-ordained lifestyle. We shared hands-on training with five other couples. Beyond delicious food and juicing, classes, videos, etc., this experience was more than I had hoped for or even imagined. "If all this were not enough, we attended Rev. Malkmus’ first Saturday-of-the-Month seminar before returning home. We were on cloud nine when we left, because now my husband and I were in total agreement regarding the Hallelujah Diet. Today, as a result of adopting the Hallelujah Diet, I am medication-free, bloating and indigestion are a thing of the past, I have no more constipation problems, and I have lost 40 pounds — hallelujah!” ~ Theresa, Albuquerque, NM
“It took me a while to get on the Hallelujah Diet. My wife had been on the diet for 3 years, but I wasn’t, because I didn’t want to quit eating meat. I became a believer in the Hallelujah Diet when we went to Hallelujah Acres in North Carolina in July 2005. I had been on thyroid medication for the past 13 years and high blood pressure pills for 4 years. I had also been a diabetic for 14 years. "By November 2005, after only a few months on the Hallelujah Diet, blood tests showed improvement in my thyroid function and the doctor reduced my medication. A few months later, my doctor noticed that my blood sugar readings were now consistently low, and told me I didn’t need to see him anymore. He also took me off my 3 diabetic medications. Prior to Hallelujah Acres, we had always tried to eat healthy, but since changing to the Hallelujah Diet, I feel great! I often receive compliments about my complexion and I have lost 23 pounds. Also, since making the diet change, I no longer have numbness and burning sensations in my left leg, stemming from an auto accident injury back in 1991.” ~ John, Albuquerque, NM
