  1. Finding ways in today’s world to deal with and handle stress is crucial. Stress can be a major contributing factor in your well being. Just following a well-balanced, plant based diet is not enough if you don’t take the time to care for your spiritual self as well.

This is such an important topic. I have a lot of my family that is affected by anxiety. Diet and lifestyle really does play a huge part in helping them cope with their anxiety. I’m also so thankful God is here for us to tell him about our stress.

Nice video on how stress can harm our bodies. Taking a few minutes a day several times a day to just take a deep breath and have a talk with God can help so much.

  4. I have always heard people say how stress can cause a lot of problems.. Well back in 2012 I found that to be true for myself. I’m glad that I Have the word of God to stand on now more than anything when dealing with stress! Now I find myself going to some of my favorite scriptures just to keep my my mind at relax. One of my favorites is when Paul mentions the command to “not be anxious about anything” but about “everything” we can commit it to “prayer and supplication” but it should be “with thanksgiving [that our] requests [are] made known to God”. Which we can always make our request be known to God not to stress over it..

    • I agree with Annette. I have that scripture in large print displayed like a picture and I read it several times a day. I am so thankful we still have this religious freedom to speak openly and encourage others.
