“Should I Accept Vaccines for a Missions Trip?”

“Dear Rev. Malkmus, Firstly, Thank you for all you do in sending God’s Health Message out through the Hallelujah Health Tip. I have been following the Hallelujah Lifestyle for 14 years.

I am so thankful for the day I first heard about the Hallelujah Diet and began following it. My question is, I have been asked to chaperone some youth from our church to Haiti in June. One requirement in order to enter the country is to take vaccinations for Hepatitis A, Typhoid, Tetanus and Malaria.

Vaccinations are against the Hallelujah Lifestyle I have been following for the past 14 years so how can I get around these vaccination requirements and still make the trip? I would really like to go, but of course without the vaccinations. Thanks for your response. Much blessings to you and Rhonda.”

Rev. Malkmus Responds:

Dear Xenia, Nice to hear from you! Thrilled to learn you have been on the Hallelujah Diet for 14 years. Trust it has kept you in good health! I celebrated my 80th birthday last month, still in good health, after almost 40 years on the Hallelujah Diet.

Through the years, I have had opportunity to go to some countries that required vaccinations in order to enter that country but I have refused.

Vaccinations contain so many toxic and potentially destructive substances that no matter how healthy the body, they can have an adverse affect and create problems. Because of this I have refused any vaccinations for almost 40 years, including the flu shot.

Whether you accept the vaccinations in order to go to Haiti or not is your decision although I know what my decision would be. (Click here for another perspective from my son Paul and his wife Ann).

I suggest you ask the Lord to give you clear guidance.

“Dear Rev. Malkmus, Two years ago my husband was diagnosed with stage-3 cancer in his vocal cords. At the time of his diagnosis I was already following the Hallelujah Diet in an effort to heal myself of some minor health issues, so immediately after the doctor gave my husband the cancer diagnosis the first thing that came to my mind was to convince him that he should change his diet, which he did.

So before he had his first radiation treatment my husband had already adopted the Hallelujah Diet with lots of freshly extracted vegetable juices, 48 ounces a day, plus lots of fresh and organic vegetables.

The doctors wanted him to have chemotherapy along with the radiation treatments because of the stage of the cancer but he refused and allowed the doctor to administer only the radiation. At the end of the first round of radiation, along with the Hallelujah Diet, his tumor was gone and the doctors could not believe it.

He had gone through the radiation with almost no side effects, and he never missed a day of work during the entire duration of the radiation treatments. In fact, during the entire time he was receiving the radiation he had the energy to keep on doing the things he wanted to do without missing a single day of work.

Until this day his doctor says that there is no explanation for the tumor to vanish with only one round of radiation and no chemotherapy and without the tumor returning. He is now finishing the second year of remission and I trust his cancer is gone for good.”

  1. The.question i would have is: would Africa or another third world country let you into their country without a vaccine? And would the US have to let you back in without the vaccine fearing you might bring a disease into the US?

    • I have been to Kenya many times without any vaccines…no problem entering or exiting the country.
But on another note…I will be moving to Papua New Guinea to be a missionary with Wycliffe. I made my case for no vaccinations, but the clinic doctors there said if I didn’t get DPT, HEP A/B and MMR, I couldn’t come. Yes, I placed it before God. Sometimes we have to submit to those in authority. I pleaded the blood of Jesus over me for every vaccine and had no adverse reactions. I am still strongly against vaccinations!
