Colon Problems… Gone!

Writing in response to last week’s Health Tip, Kim, a Hallelujah Acres Health Minister had this to say:

“Rev. Malkmus, I am a Hallelujah Acres Health Minister. Thank you for your excellent article which gives clear answers to a lot of common questions/issues that many people have. This article is a good tool for me–to give to people I have been helping and had given the information verbally. Since it’s a short article (vs. a book) people will more likely use it often for quick references thus information will be quickly retained/reinforced.”

In the following letter, Anne, who lives in Colorado, writes to tell how the Hallelujah Diet helped her two sons recover from colon problems:

“Dear Rev. Malkmus, My testimony involves my oldest child, now almost 30 years old, who was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and had lost 50 pounds from diarrhea and bleeding. Due to that condition, he almost lots his colon thanks to an aggressive doctor in Denver.

“Fortunately I had several friends who were following the Hallelujah Diet and had seen amazing results. They had gotten rid of arthritis, acid reflux, prostate cancer and other maladies after adopting the diet. So I strongly urged my son to give the Hallelujah Diet a try. He did, and my entire family began to follow the diet in support of our son.

“His situation began to change almost immediately after a Hallelujah Acres trained Health Minister from Colorado Springs drove an hour each day to bring him carrot juice. He left the hospital two weeks later, after a six-week stay, with his colon still intact, and his doctor not being able to explain why he got better.

“His younger brother, 17, had irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and was suffering with diarrhea and blood in his stools, because he refused to give up meat and milk. After one notable weekend he said: ‘OK mom, I’ll follow the Hallelujah Diet. You don’t have to say another word about it, because I am sick and tired of feeling so lousy and spending days in pain as my body tries to get rid of all the bad stuff I ate.’

“He no longer has IBS, has seen great improvement in his allergies, acne almost gone, and feels 100% better! Last night we went out to dinner with some out-of-town guests and he ordered a veggie sandwich while his peers ordered pizza with meat and cheese. I was so proud to see him do that in spite of what his friends ordered.

“I promote the Hallelujah Diet to everyone who complains of an illness. Someday I’ll become a Health Minister. For now, I am ordering your video on cancer for a man in my church that has cancer. God bless you and your ministry.

“P.S. I benefitted greatly on the diet also, getting ride of arthritis and 20 extra pounds after adopting the Hallelujah Diet.”

EDITOR’S NOTE: Here at Hallelujah Acres, through the years, we have received dozens of testimonies from people telling us that when they adopted a modified version (cooked vegetables with lots of raw vegetable juices) of the Hallelujah Diet, all of their colon problems simply went away. How can this be you might ask? Well the answer is as simple as “Whatsoever a man (or woman) soweth, that shall they also reap.” Every physical problem has a cause. The cause of almost all colon problems is animal source foods. Once a person stops placing these foods in their body, and adopts a basically living foods diet (or even cooked garden foods if dealing with colon problems), and especially one using lots of freshly prepared vegetable juices, the problem almost always goes away, as you just read in the above testimony letter.

    Dear Dr. Malkmus,

I wondered what you would recommend for loose bowels that have been going on for over a year. A colonoscopy came back clear and I am not celiac. We eat a diet pretty much like the one recommended by Dr. Esselstyn -but not perfectly–as my husband was diagnosed with heart disease several years ago.

    • Since we do not know your dietary status is in terms of raw food but if it is fairly high in raw foods, the fiber could be difficult for the bowel to handle efficiently. Some folks need to have a higher intake of cooked fiber to slow down the bowel. For some folks, flax or chia seed can stimulate bowel activity. Regular use of a pure organic psyllium powder is sometimes helpful in optimizing bowel function.
