Celebrating Rev. Malkmus’ 83rd Birthday and Hallelujah Diet’s 25th Anniversary

This year, we are thrilled to celebrate the Rev. George Malkmus' 83rd birthday on the 25th anniversary of Hallelujah Diet. On this day, Feb. 12, 25 years ago, Hallelujah Acres was founded. At the time, our message and our teachings were faced with a lot of criticism, even from the Christian community. To us, the message was simple: You don't have to be sick. We knew, from early on, that fueling our bodies with the plant-based diet derived from Genesis 1:29 could promote the self-healing mechanisms that God gifted us with.

Though it would take more than two decades for the rest of the health community to start catching on, Rev. Malkmus and his wife Rhonda continued to work hard and push forward. They had a shared vision of what the Hallelujah Diet could be and today, we celebrate that success.

Rev. Malkmus and Rhonda.Rev. Malkmus and Rhonda.

Through all of the ups and the downs, it has been the moving testimonies and success stories shared by all of you, that have continued to push us forward. These stories that you have so bravely shared have energized us, motivated us and inspired us to keep spreading the good word. We encourage you to continue to share those stories of how your lives have been transformed.

We want to thank each and every one of you for your unconditional support and belief in our mission for the past 25 years. To show our gratitude, we will be offering a 25% discount on all of our Hallelujah Diet supplements for two days only.

Over 25 years later, our foundational teachings inspired by God remain the same. We will continue to educate and demonstrate that there are natural alternatives out there – that a healthy lifestyle promoting strong bodies and preventing chronic disease can be achieved through a primarily raw, plant-based diet and the proper supplements. Opening up the door to a world where you don't have to be sick, you don't have to be afraid of chronic disease continues to be our goal.

Please join us in wishing Rev. Malkmus, our founder, a blessed and happy birthday.

Thank you,

The Team at Hallelujah Diet

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Rev. Malkmus! Many from my own family have benefited greatly from your life and inspiration! My mother was told in 1999 that she had 6 months to live because she had stage 4 colon cancer. I went down to Roseburg, Oregon to her home to take care of her for 3 months. She was more dead than alive when I got to her home. The chemo and radiation almost killed her. I put her on your Hallelujah diet and she will be turning 86 years old this April. Some day I will write out her story and share it.
Keep up the awesome work that you are doing! So many people still need it!
Thank you so very much and have a wonderful birthday!

Dear George When I found your ministry I was so excited because I finally found a Christian based organization with the same message that I believed in. You along with Ronda have inspired me to keep on teaching the message that I learned when I came for Health Minister training back in 2001. I pray as you celebrate your 83rd birthday that you know you are loved and appreciated. May God bless you with many more.

Happy Birthday Papa George. You are a rare gem. We wish you many more healthy and productive years on earth if Christ tarries. Mega blessings sir.

  30. Happy Belated Birthday George! You and Rhonda have immensely made an impacted on my life which started approximately 7 years ago when you held a seminar at the Chillicothe Baptist Church, here in Ohio. You had explained the diet so clearly, in such a way that it made perfect sense why we get sick and how we can regain our health by eating a plant based diet. I jumped right on it and have not strayed since. I can hardly believe I’m two years shy of 70 and feel fantastic!… You were definitely a God sent that evening … Praise God for your health ministry and may He continue to bless you, your family, friends and the company with the message of healing and hope through nutrition and exercise.

  31. Patti Watson February 13, 2017

Happy 83rd Birthday Rev George Malkmus,
I remember when you met Rhonda and she had lots of health problems and weighed 300 lbs. She looks healthy now.
Your birthday is February 12 and my birthday is February 17, 1937. What year were you and Rhonda married?
I remember when you were teaching “you don’t have to be sick” back then you were talking about your illness and your mother. Seams like your mother was a nurse. I can’t remember now what your illness was, but it was bad.
I wanted to go see you all at your farm, but never made it. It is good to see you again. I ordered some of your books.
A friend of mine has cancer. Please pray for him. He has a young family. He is 56, his son is 12 years old.
    God bless you,
    Voncille

  37. Daune Steele February 13, 2018

    Happy Birthday Rev. Malkmus,
I was truly blessed by the ministry in Shelby, NC. Great foundation on my journey to a healthy life.

  38. Tommy Moore May 16, 2018

I just need to say, THANK YOU! Back in the 90’s I was first introduced to your ministry and after doing it for a few months I quit. I lost the book, Gods Way To Ultimate Health. I got sick about a month ago with Diverticulitis and instantly remembered you. I found the book and ordered myself a copy and I’m going back to the Garden. Praise God!!

    • Melody Hord May 18, 2018

Hi Tommy, I have heard diverticulitis is painful. I had gastritis and I must be very careful with what I eat. I am careful eating raw produce. I have found that blending salads and making very low sweet fruit smoothies are MUCH easier on my stomach! Think about someone with a compromised GUT trying to digest raw broccoli, cabbage, celery and carrots. I have come to love my blended creations! I am not sure how well someone with diverticulitis can handle raw food. But if they can, then blended would be an ideal way. Of course, juicing is good, too. But juicing is not a meal. A blended drink can contain virgin coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, and nut butters that will give some fat to help hold a person up. In other words, they can serve as a meal, or a large portion of a meal. Here is a little recipe book if you need some help with blended drink ideas. I hope you make a rapid recovery!
