Why The Health Care Reform Bill Must Be Repealed

With National Elections only one week away, candidates of both the Republican and Democratic parties are raising many issues — one of the hottest is Health Care Reform.

On one side, Republican candidates for both the House and Senate are seeking to repeal the recently-passed Health Care Reform law. When it was yet a bill, not a single Republican voted for it.

On the other side, Democratic candidates are running from the issue. This comes despite the fact that Health Care Reform was President Obama’s signature issue during his presidential campaign (and that Democrats were 100% responsible for passing the resulting Health Care Reform bill into law).

Why would the single most important piece of legislation President Obama wanted passed on his watch become one of the hottest and most controversial issues in the upcoming election?

The answer is simple: most Americans do not want it!

In various polls taken across the country, the American people (by a wide margin) say Health Care Reform should be repealed.

Most Americans DO Support Some Type of Health Care Reform

Prior to the President’s expressed desire to bring a Health Care Reform bill before Congress, most Americans believed that reform was desperately needed. Even this editor strongly agreed that reform was essential if the health of the people was to improve and the cost of health care was to diminish.

Sadly, the Health Care Reform bill that finally passed had absolutely nothing to do with Americans’ health or lower health care costs. It had everything to do with making so-called “Health Care” available to all Americans whether they could pay for it or not — and who would pay these “Health Care” costs.

Rather than reforming America’s antiquated, corrupt, ineffectual, and extremely expensive heath care system, it brought even more people into a system that had already proven to be a colossal failure.

If the system that has been in place for the past 100 years actually worked, why is the health of the American people the poorest of all industrialized nations?

“Kim” has the answer.

Kim has been a registered nurse for 25 years. Here’s what she has to say about our current Health Care system:

“One night in the ER, as I was pulling drugs from our med draw, I looked down and a thought came to me: ‘Does anyone ever get well taking these drugs?’ And the answer came back – ‘No one ever gets well taking these drugs!’

“At that moment I knew I was at a crossroads of decision. Would I continue to be a part of a system that kills, steals, and destroys lives, or would I step out on faith not knowing what to do, where to go, or how we would pay our bills without my income from nursing?

“With wobbly legs, I chose to leave this evil system and step out on faith. After making that decision, my legs began to strengthen with each and every passing day. As my resolve strengthened, I at last resigned my RN position this past May, after nearly 25 years as a nurse in the medical system. . . .”

Kim concludes her letter with these words: “How many more must die in this condition when there is hope for them outside the medical system. . . .”

Health Care Reform Has Absolutely Nothing To Do With Health

The very use of the word “Health” in “Health Care Reform” or in “Health Insurance” is tragic. As Kim said in her letter above, “no one ever gets well taking these drugs.”

And you know what? She is absolutely right!

Do you know of even one person who ever recovered from the physical or psychological problem they were experiencing by taking drugs?

Do those with high blood pressure ever recover by taking those medication? Or do they have to remain on those drugs (as the doctor says) “for the rest of their life?”

Do those who suffer with headaches or migraines truly recover by taking pain killing drugs?

Do diabetics ever recover by injecting insulin? Or do they have to remain it while watching physical health continue to deteriorate?

What about people with arthritis? Can they get well by taking drugs or seeing a doctor or do they continue to deteriorate as well?

I could go on. But think about this. There is not one single physical or psychological problem for which a doctor prescribed drugs or treatment that will disappear to the point that the patient no longer needs to take drugs or visit a doctor.

Doctors and Drugs Never Restore Health

True health and healing for both physical and emotional problems never comes by way of doctors or drugs! Drugs an only suppress symptoms while providing repeat customers for the doctor.

America’s health care system has been broken for a very long time. To force all Americans into this system (that has never healed anyone of anything) is a tragedy physically, monetarily, and morally.

The medical community is incapable of bringing health or healing to those who come to them for help with their physical problems — no matter how sincere a doctor may be!

Doctors are taught that for every symptom there is a drug. If a particular drug doesn’t relieve the symptom, they are taught to try another drug. Sadly, these drugs never heal the problem. Instead, they require repeat doses while often creating new problems for which additional drugs are needed.

I recently had a lady tell me that after adopting The Hallelujah Diet, she was able to eliminate all 35 of her prescribed drugs.

The Bible clearly states that America’s version of a health care system was already broken 2,000 years ago:

“And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, and had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse.” (Mark 5:25-26)

In spite of this biblical warning, we are again embracing the same system that had proven to be failure over 2,000 years ago: “suffered many things of many physicians . . . spent all that she had . . . was nothing bettered . . . but rather grew worse.”

Forcing ever more people into a system that is very expensive and has failed to restore health for more than 2,000 years is insanity. It will never solve the “Health Care” crisis in America today, tomorrow, or ever.

The Solution To The Current Health Care Crisis

If we truly want “health care” reform, we must not force everyone into a failed and corrupt system. We must abandon it.

The only system that will solve the problem and eliminate almost every physical problem is to teach people how to prevent the problem from ever occurring in the first place.

Let’s spend money…

  • to teach people how to change their diet and lifestyle so they won’t get sick in the first place; and
  • to teach those who are sick how to make a simple change in diet and lifestyle to be made whole again.

We accomplish this by teaching the people how by eating only health promoting foods. In so doing, they will see most every physical problem simply disappear without the drugs, doctors, and the heavy financial cost that accompanies this system.

This is what Hallelujah Acres is all about. We teach health from a Biblical perspective. By simply going back to the Bible and nourishing our bodies with the foods God told us we should eat in Genesis 1:29, we can almost always recover from whatever physical problem or problems we are experiencing.

Which System Will You Choose?

Most people have been following the world’s system of health care for years. It has proven to be a complete and utter failure. Isn’t it high time we switched systems? The Bible says:

“For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.” (I Corinthians 3:19)

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world, but rather be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God .” (Romans 12:1-2)

“So the curse causeless shall not come.” (Proverbs 26:2) (All physical problems have a CAUSE, and here God says that if we don’t entertain the “CAUSE” of the problem, the curse of sickness will not manifest!)

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge.” (Hosea 4:6)

“AND GOD SAID, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed: to you it shall be for meat (food).” (Genesis 1:29)

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” (3 John 2)

Remember, the Bible tells us that the “curse causeless shall not come.” The simple solution to America’s health crisis is to stop dealing with the symptoms of disease (through the use of drugs, chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery) and start eliminating the cause of disease.

Once we remove the cause, and start providing the body with the living nutrients as God instructed in Genesis 1:29, most physical and even psychological problems will simply go away and we won’t get sick anymore.

Hallelujah Acres has proven this approach to be true. For nearly 20 years now, tens-of-thousands of people have written to tell me that by eliminating the cause of their physical problem and making simple changes in their diet and lifestyle, they have seen over 170 different physical problems simply disappear — and they don’t get sick anymore.

For most, the cost is no more than what they are currently paying for groceries. Yet the benefits are priceless: health, true health. This is the ultimate health God planned for all mankind.

My dear friend, this is true “Health Care Reform.”

Great article, but it really does not address the title of the article.
How foolish to assume that because you and some others know the way to health that all people will learn it and/or have the means and wherewithal to implement it..
It is bigoted thinking, in my opinion. Drugs will always be used and in addition sometimes drugs do help. Granted one is better off without them, but even those who believe sometimes struggle with whether or not to use them (very high blood pressure, etc). That is the life struggle between good and evil.
Even if everyone were to adopt this way of living there would still need to be help available for many sick and accident victims.
How do you assume that everyone will adopt this way of living even if the government were to teach it? People accept what they want and reject what they don’t want all the time. For instance, there is nothing you can say to help me understand why you the feel the health care bill should be repealed. By the same token I am sure you will never agree with me that it shouldn’t be repealed.
Remember even God gives us choices. By the way you drive a car, right? You must have insurance to do that, so please don’t jump on the choice part. Emergency rooms fill up with people who need help and the medical profession as it currently exists does a good job of meeting those needs. The emergency room bill for the nation is much higher than this bill. CBO, economists, etc. say so. I believe them rather than the nay sayers.
Why do so many reject this bill? Because the republicans are good at propaganda (they are experts at propaganda) will do anything and say anything to have their way. They forget there truly is a real God who is very concerned with the poor (who we will have with us always).
They are for the pull yourself up by the bootstrap crew who will help the rich anytime. There are many working poor and they pay taxes, unlike the rich corporations who pay zippo and their executives take home excessive pay. Even your corporation may pay zippo. Where is the true care for people? It escapes me. By the way, I have insurance.

  2. The Democrat governor of TN wrote with great insight in the Oct 21 WSJ Op Ed regarding “Obamacare”. He speaks of the perpetrators of this “plan” depicting it one way on the surface and deviously anticipating a different outcome based on people’s likely reactions forced by the manipulative elements of the “plan”.

Remember this famous Obama promise,“If you are happy with your current health insurance you can keep it!”

“Obamacare”, without question, unConstitutionally requires everyone (except Muslims, Amish, legislators, and some Unions) to purchase health insurance. Currently, all state departments of insurance are busy establishing “Private Healthcare Exchanges” “to allow people to buy health insurance at group rates” regardless of pre-existing conditions with government mandated coverage and subsidized by tax dollars based on income levels. $500 billion Medicare dollars have already been raided for subsidy use.

“Seniors” (over age 64) have ONLY what’s left of Medicare. Their choices dwindle as “supplementals” are standardized. Seniors (who had those Medicare dollars deducted from there paychecks) cannot choose these “Exchanges”.

Under age 65, if employed, your employer can choose to either pay a fixed penalty of $2000 per employee and not offer you group insurance; offer a cheap minimal coverage plan like McDonalds has announced; or gamble with unpredictable costs for those plans most are “happy with” now. If employers choose the “fixed cost” penalty, their employees MUST go to the “Exchanges”. “Freedom of choice” starts to disappear quickly…..Then….

These “Exchanges” are supposed to allow insurance companies to sell to groups of individuals at group rates…sounds good, except the federal government tells private insurance companies what they can charge and what they must cover forcing them out of business (because health insurance has always been based on actuarial data to spread risk–eventually leaving only the government medical plan as THE choice. Again, “freedom of choice fades fast”.

Inevitably, cost will be astronomical. The only choice (all up to Federal Bureaucrats) will be to cut coverage. ALL health insurance choices will then be government controlled. “Gubmet” can blame private citizens for “choosing wrong” but, in fact, those choices were forced by designed circumstances.

Government employees too won’t be exempted from losing choice. Presently, state and local governments (including universities) are struggling to meet health insurance costs for retirees (many 15 years too young for Medicare) and employees. The politically safe “easy answer” will be to quickly dump government employees/retirees into these “Exchanges” and save the states and local governments from going bankrupt.

No American, except exemptions earlier mentioned, will be left with ANY choice except “What the HHR Secretary shall” decide FOR them–a phrase used in the “Obamacare Care” bill more than 1,000 times. EVERY decision will be made in WAshington….do NOT be deceived.

The November 2nd elections are our last chance to elect candidates who are NOT in political lockstep with Obama, Pelosi, and state administrations who lick their boots. We CANNOT risk electing/re-electing Democrats because it perpetuates the dangerous lack of checks and balances.

Will, “the poor” be better off than they are now with Medicare? NO! But those taxpayers who currently underwrite Medicare will be dragged down. The only ones who “like their current plan and will still be able to use it” are the legislators themselves, muslims, Amish, and some Union officials. Medicare, as we know it has already begun the dilution process.

Obamacare is “sick care” and not “health care” which is the only thing it has in common with current private plans. Medical Care is NOT Health Care–it is a multi billion dollar industry built on the foundation of Big Pharma controlling almost ALL medical research and training. Big corporate farming and MANufactured food companies are mixed right in with Big Pharma and agencies like the FDA are run by former executives of these large corporations.

Taking care of one’s own health care by putting ONLY non-toxic food and water into our bodies and following a healthy lifestyle is the ONLY choice for “HEALTH care”.

Case in point: Our tax dollars pay huge farm subsidies for corn growing which the “ethanol myth” began. Since “ethanol” wasn’t quite as advertised, a use for all that corn was found–corn sugar or high fructose corn syrup. Do we need it? NO, it is a health assaulter. But it is “used” in a lot of “cheap processed food” and because it’s cheap, the economically poor eat even more of it than others do. The result is a LOT of chronic disease like diabetes, heart disease, etc. Meat animals, not designed to eat corn, are fed copious amounts of it. Then we “need” to pour copious tax dollars into “sick care”.

It’s a plan to make citizens lose a lot of weight–in their wallets.

  3. I live in Australia. We have the same health problems here. We also live in a democracy which means that people have a right to voice their opinions fearlessly. In Australia the government of the day is placing more emphasis and money on preventive health programs but we are in our infancy in this direction. I don’t think we can expect the sick people to agree to eliminating doctors and drugs by law. It will be a process of seeing how preventive health keeps more people away from traditional doctors and drugs. Since my awareness of the need for preventive measures in my life I’ve maintained a good health at 72 years of age. Yes preventive health does work and it costs less than using doctors and drugs. In addition to buying fruits and vegetables I also grow my own. Growing more of our own veggies would be a good step in the direction of preventive health, but we can’t make it law to do so.

The more we get away from party politics in Australia the sooner the politicians will start to work for the people. We are at that point now with a minority government in power.

The two party system of government doesn’t serve the will of the people. I believe it is the same in America.

I am a medical transcriptionist. If you think our medical system works well (or ever will, reform or not)….come and do my job for a few days.

I don’t need to know all the in’s and out’s of the reform bill. Why in the wide, wide world of sports do we think it’s going to make things better? Remember our government’s response to Katrina? And, don’t try to blame it on having a republican President at the time. I don’t follow one party or the other….all I know is it would have ended up the same way regardless of which party was in power at the time. And that’s the entity we’re handing over control of supposed health care to? “Good night, nurse.”

  5. I’m not sure of the pertinence of discussing the two party system because currently, in USA, we have no checks and balances via the parties. Probably term limits should be put in play because politicians of both parties bribe the voters with their own money (through pork). One party is despotism and more than two usually means a population minority ideology controls.

One of our biggest problems in USA is vote fraud and corruption mainly through labor unions and sub-cultural groups.

There is frightening legislation brewing to force population concentration into urban areas and to prohibit people growing their own food. Terrifying! Big Pharma and Large corporate farming/food processing (GMO) is the devil’s work.

  6. Amazing! What’s the reasoning behind stopping people growing their own veggies may I ask?

According to my exploration, millions of persons on our planet get the personal loans at various banks. Therefore, there is a good chance to find a student loan in all countries.
