What Did God Tell Us We Should Eat?

Ever since Hallelujah Acres’ inception in 1992 (over 23 years ago), I have been claiming that the Bible should be our source of information concerning what we should and should not eat!

In May 1993, 22 years ago, in the very first issue of our paper publication, “Back to the Garden,” I wrote an article titled “God’s Original Diet.” On the masthead of this same publication, I made this statement: “Teaching Health From A Biblical Perspective!”

Well, just as strongly as I have consistently declared that we teach health from a biblical perspective, my teachings have been challenged, sometimes very vehemently, and sometimes quite unkindly, by those who claim that my teachings are “not biblical”.

One of our detractors went so far as to say that our teachings were “the doctrine of devils,” and that because of these teachings; I was in “danger of losing [my] salvation and going to hell.”

Through the years, I have attempted to answer critics with a little Scripture here and a lot of Scripture there. Yet no matter how many verses I shared in refuting the charges, the challenges continued.

So in this Health Tip, I want to begin a series in which I will attempt to deal with all the verses concerning what we should and should not eat found in the Bible, verses that some have used through the years to challenge or refute our teachings.

Before I begin, however, I want to request something from you…

I ask that you approach this series with an open mind. I realize that you may have preconceived beliefs concerning what the Bible has to say about what we should and should not eat.

I realize that you have, no doubt, been eating foods all your life that are quite different from what the Bible says we should eat.

I also realize that having an open mind as we approach this subject will not be easy, but I hope you will give it a try.

Next, I want to lay a few foundations on which I will build my case, before beginning:

Laying the Foundation

  1. I am a Christian! I became a Christian on May 29, 1957, almost 60 years ago.
  2. I believe the Bible to be the very Word of God! (II Tim. 3:16)
  3. I have been studying the Bible for almost 60 years. (II Tim. 2:15)
  4. I spent 4 years in school, intensely studying the Bible, in preparation for the ministry.
  5. I was a Bible-believing preacher who pastored for almost 20 years!
  6. I have prepared and delivered some 5,000 biblically-based messages from the pulpit.
  7. I have written and published five books: “Why Christians Get Sick”; “God’s Way to Ultimate Health”; “A Message of Hope and Healing”; “The Hallelujah Diet” and “God’s Original Diet”.
  8. When it comes to the Scriptures, I do not consider myself a novice!

Okay, let’s get started, and let’s start “in the beginning”:

“In The Beginning, God Created” (Genesis 1:1)

These are the first 5 words of the Bible: “In the beginning God created . . .”

In that very first chapter of the very first book in the Bible – in the book of Genesis, we find the account of what God created, and how He created it on each of the six days of creation:

  • Separation of dry land and water on the first two days of creation
  • Plant life on day three
  • The sun, moon, and stars on day four
  • Most animals were created on day five
  • …and then on day six, God created man.

I believe that these were six literal 24-hour days, as the Bible states following each day of creation:

“And the evening and the morning were the first … second … third … fourth … fifth … sixth day”

And as for what God used to create all things, the Scriptures says in each instance: “And God said . . . ”

In other words, God spoke, and out of nothing, God created.

Though I cannot comprehend with my finite mind how God could create something out of nothing, I believe He did it by – faith!

Let me say here before we go any farther that believing in the evolutionary teaching that everything came from dead mineral matter that collided eons ago also requires faith!

In fact, it requires greater faith to believe that dead mineral matter (of which they cannot explain the origin) just collided one day with a “big bang”, and ultimately life appeared, and ultimately you and me.

Any rational or truly intelligent mind must realize that dead mineral matter cannot produce life!

Only life begets life (the life of Jesus – see John 1:1-3, 14).

No matter how much time those dead minerals have to work with, can dead minerals produce life? No! Only God can produce life!

And so I find it very refreshing to read such verses in the Bible as Hebrews 11:3…

“Through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”

Or John 1:1…

“All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.”

Here’s a great verse in Colossians 1:16-17…

“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible . . . all things were created by him, and for him. And he is before all things, and by him, all things consist.”

Have you ever wondered why God did not create man on day one?

The obvious answer is he had to prepare a place for man and his other animal creations to live and food for them to eat so that animal and human life could be sustained. Thus God used the first four days of creation preparing a place for His animal and human creations to live and food in order that their lives be sustained.

God Creates Man and Puts Him In A Garden

“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul. And the Lord God planted a garden eastward of Eden, and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food. . .”

~ Genesis 2:7-9a

“And the Lord God took the man and put him into the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”

~ Genesis 2:15-17

Human life began in a garden!

God took dirt and clay (“dust of the ground” vs 7), fashioned it into a man, and then breathed into that lifeless form, “the breath of life, and man became a living soul” (vs 7).

Then God took His first human creation, whom He called Adam, and placed him in a garden, and told him he could eat everything in the garden except “the tree of the knowledge of good and evil . . .”

God Has Compassion On Adam

The next thing we learn from the Scriptures is that God had compassion upon Adam because he was all alone:

“And the Lord God said, it is not good that the man should be alone, I will make him a help meet for him. . . and the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; and the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.”

~ Genesis 2:18, 21-22

Wow, what a perfect beginning mankind had. Here were the first man and the first woman, God brings them together in marriage (Genesis 2:24), and provides them with a gorgeous garden in which to live. Talk about heaven on earth!

God Tells Man What He Should Eat

“And God said, behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you, it shall be for food.”

~ Genesis 1:29

After God had created Adam, and before He created Eve, God gave Adam the diet that He God had designed the human physical body to be nourished with.

Yes, here in Genesis 1:29, we find the instructions God the Creator gave Adam, his first human creation when it came to what foods he should eat to sustain the physical life and body God had created.

And what did God the Creator instruct man concerning what he should eat?

Putting what God says here in Genesis 1:29 into current English usage, it would read: “raw fruits and vegetables, seeds, and nuts, to you, it shall be for food!”

Obviously, if God instructed His human creation to consume a pure, raw, 100% plant-based, vegan diet, free of all animal source foods immediately after the creation of that first man – that had to be the food God designed the human physical body to be nourished with and sustained by for all time.

If God the Creator, told that first human creation that he was to eat only the raw fruits and vegetables, seeds and nuts found in the garden God had created prior to man’s arrival, God must have known what He was doing!

Thus, this Genesis 1:29 diet has got to be God’s perfect plan and will for the nourishment of the human physical body He (God) created, not just for that garden experience of Adam and Eve, but for the rest of man’s physical existence on planet earth!

It is very important to note that God did not tell man to eat each other, nor did God give man permission to eat the flesh of the other animals He had created.

In fact, as we will see further along in this series, it was not until some 1,700 years after God had given mankind this 100% plant-based (vegan) diet in Genesis 1:29, that God allowed man to consume, for the very first time, the flesh of an animal.

Man Not Created To Eat Animal Flesh

God did not design us like He did carnivorous (meat-eating) animals, which have the ability to rip and tear the flesh of live a nimals and swallow huge chunks of raw flesh, still dripping with blood. In fact, we find that repulsive, don’t we?

Carnivorous animals were designed by God to rip open the flesh of live animals with knife-like claws and razor-sharp teeth. Carnivorous animals were given very short digestive tracts and very high concentrations of hydrochloric acid to break down and move quickly that flesh through a short digestive system before it was putrefied.

Trouble In Paradise

“Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made, and he said unto the woman, yea, hath God said, ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?”

~ Genesis 3:1
Oh my, Adam and Eve were still on their honeymoon when a problem arose!

And what was that problem? Why it was concerning what man should eat and what man should not eat. The future articles in this series are going to be very interesting, BUT . . . .

We are going to save that for our next installment in our series titled “What Did God Tell Us We Should Eat.”

To be continued . . .

Next week, the good Lord willing and if the creeks don’t rise too high we will return with another exciting issue of the Hallelujah Health Tip. Trust you will join us and that you will share these Health Tips with friends and loved ones.

  1. Eileen Moravetz August 3, 2015

Hi, I have been reading, sharing and using Hallelujah products for over 15 years.

I recently heard an interesting viewpoint on the raw diet. here it is…

Yes, God gave us the raw food to eat, etc. BUT after the flood, the atmosphere changed- the pressure etc, and then God told man to eat meat, (yes – man had become very evil and God was limiting his days to 120 years – ) But perhaps something had changed in the atmosphere and god DID tell man to eat meat then – maybe because man was not getting everything he needed anymore from the plants because of change in the atmosphere, etc so he was instructed to eat meat…..

what are your thoughts on that?

    Thank you

    • Mercedez Watt August 28, 2017

He told them to eat meat because there was no veggie after the flood.

    • Arinze Nwankwo No. June 19, 2018

Nobody said anything about fish and sea lives, which we call sea food. Should I uphold that we have crossed the boundary?

  2. You stated that the “problem” that arose in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve was concerning what to eat and not to eat. Not so. The “problem” was disobedience to God’s Word. Had nothing to do with food. Its true as a true born again believer we should take of our bodies, for it the Temple of The Holy Spirit. All the food restrictions given in the Old Testament were for the Israelites and not for the New Testament Saints. All of this is “Law”. Jesus Himself ate meat and fish under the Old Testament restrictions because He came to fulfill the Law and give Himself as a Sacrifice as the Lamb of God unblemished and without sin. Now we live in the Dispensation of Grace and not the Dispensation of Law, all due the the Cross of Calvary. The Bible, God’s Holy Word gives us all we need for life and living and no where in the New Testament do you see where we should NOT eat meat. A diet rich in fruits and vegetables is beneficial for health, I agree, and I do eat more than the 5 servings reccomended but I also eat lean meat, around 8-10oz. a day. I need the protein for optimal health. Limiting myself to a vegetarian diet would leave me weak and without energy (tried it). I’ve learned to listen to my body and adjust my food choices. I do appreciate your website and do order some of your products. Thank you for allowing me to leave a comment.

we should take care of our bodies for they are the Temple of the Holy Spirit.

    • Michelle June 15, 2017

Dig deeper into the heart of what’s right maybe and not what you think is for optimum health. We know why in that short period Jesus had to eat fish. I believe it was due to my natural disobedience and growing addiction to consume meat. If you eat all of the types of these foods given, all the nutrients are there. We just slowly have to get back what we’ve changed and been conditioned too. If you you really think about it, it could be the work of the devil. I feel silly in saying so but it’s all among us

    • Melonie Page January 6, 2018

As a certified Health and Wellness coach, I need to let you know that meat is horrendous for one’s body, brain, cells, and just overall helth. You can get all the protein you need from a 100% plant-based diet. Actually, studies have shown there is more protein in a plant-based diet than in eating dead animals. Eating of dead animals cause so many diseases, illnesses, and ailments…in addition, it dumbs down the brain; whereas, plant-based foods bring life to all I mentioned. Basically, we are what we eat. We eat meat, we slowly die from the inside. We eat 100% plant-based foods, we thrive from all the vitamins and minerals they provide. There are 70+ year old vegans putting 20 year olds to shame.

      • Ronda Lopez March 20, 2018

        Thank you

      • Stephanie Morgan June 9, 2018

Thank you yes ,Melanie Page.I have been transitioning to plant basesd.I can walk again because of it.I found Dr.McDougall a real doctor that I listened to and so happy I did.He teaches everything free on his site and YouTube.

      • Melanie you hit it right on the nail head!.

      • Raechel Callejo August 19, 2018

Thank you for your comment. It shocks me that people do not realize that proteins are made of combinations of amino acids and they come from plants.

  3. jacque jackson August 3, 2015

    Dear Rev., Malkmus,

just wanted to say thank you for this article. Can’t wait for next week’s issue. There are just so many questions that I have…maybe they will all be answered throughout this time.

  4. Linda miller August 3, 2015

George, about 3 years or so ago, it just struck me how significant it is that only 2 instructions were recorded after He created Adam. Tend the garden and what to eat! I’m sure He and Adam had long discussions yet only those 2 instructions are recorded. It just reinforced so much what you have been saying for years.

    • Lillydrew May 17, 2018

If a vegetarian diet leave you weak and without energy , you have got to be doing something wrong , I’ve been a vegetarian for years started when my daughter got cancer and I found out that meat it acidic to your body and causes cancer to grow along with sugar . I drink calaloo juice for a while and did a blood test my blood was so healthy that the doctor was quiet shock everything was right where it should be . My brother in law is a vegetarian from birth never eat meat in his life , and he his healthy strong and full of energy. For you to say that a vegan diet leave you weak, and without energy what that is saying to me is that your saying that the diet that the Lord create for us is no good and it leaves us weak and without energy . God is God , and he is our creator he made us and I think he his quite capable of giving us the diet that is best for us and he did , fruits nuts and grains , he added flesh meat way later because of sin and did u know that meat was added to decrease the life of humans ? Back then humans used to live for hundreds of years on a plant base diet , but because of increase wickedNess a meat diet was interduce so that humans lifespan could cut short now your lucky if we live to 100. But God is calling all of his people back to a plant base diet to prepare us for translation.

  5. We know from genesis that God spoke directly to Adam and Eve. Genesis does not specify whether meat was prohibited, it simply says that they could eat the fruit of any tree in the context of prohibiting the tree of life. Leviticus adds to that the details of clean and unclean animal foods.
If vegan is the original diet of creation, then why did Abraham serve meat and dairy to the three messengers?
If vegan is the diet God intended, then why does Jesus – the living Word made flesh, who was there in the beginning, why does he eat meat and fish?
Food for thought, as they say.

    • Daniel Penner August 16, 2017

I believe man ate meat way back because its much more efficient and accessable to eat four to six ounces of animal protein than two pounds of fresh vegetables and its the desert so finding enough high quality protein was difficult

  6. David Katanga March 3, 2017

We all live by dead substance. Either you eat herbs/fruits/meat/seeds, something has to die in order for you to live.

  7. The sin of Adam and eve and the blood sacrifice its from that moment they would have started eating it ..because anything that is sacrificed can be eaten principle is there in OT..So I believe that it could be the time man started eating flesh . And now we are subject to faith not law so nothing is unclean anything can be eaten with thanks to the Lord.

  8. God prescribed to us what was good to eat. Fruits and vegetables.

After man sinned a sacrifice had to be made. A scapegoat otherwise Adam would have been killed. God made the first sacrifice and clothed them in flesh. Anytime you eat meat, you give thanks because another being died so you could eat And ifs some purpose was for atonement, propitiation, and all the trappings.

Jesus was sinless. There was no need for him to receive atonement. Therefore no need to eat meat. No scripture specifically says he ate meat. He told his disciples to prepare the passover. He cooked fish for them. They are sinners
When at the passover what did he day was his flesh.? Bread…

  9. Kenneth Wright October 31, 2017

Acts10:11He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. 12It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles and birds. 13Then a voice told him, “Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.”

14“Surely not, Lord!” Peter replied. “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.”

15The voice spoke to him a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.”

    • Molly Johnson November 2, 2017

You need to read the rest of that passage, where it clearly describes the proper interpretation of that dream of Peter’s (which actually had nothing to do with diet).

  10. In my opinion, God does not change. I believe the original diet is the only way we should eat. There are very old bibles that say nothing about Jesus eating meet.
Many of the apostle were vegetarian, and many of the first generation of christian were christian according to me early church scholars. Why would the very first christians who actually knew Jesus, not follow the same diet as Jesus ?
First century historians, wrote Jesus brother James was a vegetarian from birth. Why would James be a vegetarian and not Jesus?
Many people qoute Paul , about eating meat. Paul never met Jesus. Paul was fighting with the original apostle on the direction of the church. Why are the vegetarian apostles who knew Jesus wrong and Paul right?
I know we are to believe every word of the bible, but the bible has been rewritten so many times. And while God does not error we do. I know many times I’ve had an overwhelming feeling I’m not suppose to do something, but like a knuclehead I do. I’m sure many scribes had the holy spirit helping them but man does what he wants to often and not what he suppose to..
I’ve read that there are ancient text that says Jesus asked for bread and Fish weed(seaweed), not fish! But to a scribe in rome , fish would make more logical sense.
The part in the bible about Jesus eating fish after he resurected was add centuries later..
Therefore I believe we have to use logic. God said don’t eat meat, many prophets were vegetarian and many of the first Christians. I’m going to guess that eating meat is bad.
Also meat cause cancer, heart disease and is destroying the plant. Shouldn’t we respect our bodies, the animals and the plant?

  11. This Article makes no sense. I am not trying to be rude but this person REALLY needs to read the Bible AGAIN! Seriously.

    • Ronda Lopez March 20, 2018

Bebe what is your understanding? I am asking because I am confused. I have never been religious but am trying now I want to eat what GOD intended. My son says HE gave us some meat to eat, like fish with non scales. No meat with hoofs and certain birds. Am I correct in this? Please email me I am having a hard time.

      • Hi Ronda your son is right. Read Deuteronomy. Don’t confuse things too much Jesus died for your sins and whoever believes in him shall be saved. It’s up to you if you want to be a vegan or not. And I always believe the Holy spirit will guide you. Right now I am so disgusted with meat I’m ready to be a vegetarian. Gradually we turn into the person God wants us to be.

  12. Sad people don’t read the bible. Well after the flood God permitted humans to eat meat and and God specified which meat were clean and unclean period.

Now humans and nutrition have come to destroy us. Injecting fruits and veges and doing all sorts of bad things. Even fruits and veges now have no effects. All seem like trash.

  13. Hi there,
Thanks for this article – I came across it searching Genesis scripture about plant-based diet. Where can I find the rest of the articles in the series please? I haven’t been able to find them.
    Thanks and God bless

  14. After the flood, God told Noah that we could eat meat as long as all the blood was drained (no lifeblood- basically Kosher). This is where He introduced meat being okay to eat, however, as you said, in the beginning it was mostly fruits and vegetables. – Genesis 9: 1-5

  15. Thomas Purtzer, MD May 21, 2018

I just found your website and read your article after reading Genesis 1 in my new Life Essential Study Bible by Pastor Glen Getz. I’m trying to switch my diet to raw vegan but it is hard! I read verses 29-30 and the Spirit said to me, “See I gave you and the animals every seed bearing plant on the surface of the earth and every tree whose fruit contains seed.” I have also been reading a book How to Cure Diabetes” by Gabriel Cousens and he has proven that following a raw vegan diet cures 61% of type 2 diabetics. He calls his raw vegan diet from the “Culture of Life” versuses the SAD (standard American diet) which is the “Culture of Death”. I’m excited to have found this website. Thank you Lord Jesus for sending me this Man if God!! I’m a retired physician and your position has all the backing of science, which is worth very little compared to God clearly stating it! Thanks and God Bless you and yours, Thomas Purtzer, MD

      Hi Doctor,
You would love reading Rev. Malkmus’ book, “God’s Way to Ultimate Health”. George’s initial diet was all raw plants. However, later he added 15% cooked plants, too. A small amount of cooked foods adds variety and texture. Even some nutrients are more available when cooked. Some people also need the extra calories. I have found that raw nut pates, in addition to all the salads, are immensely helpful in staying raw. Here’s one called Confetti Veggie Loaf.
I have also noticed that avocados can play a large role maintaining a raw food diet. I hope this site encourages you on your journey.

  16. bryson July 7, 2018

It’s funny how some “spin” the scriptures to meet their own needs. Example: This website is teaching how god created man to eat vegetables, and your sponsored by TrioMax juice powders Large 10.6 oz $59.95….my how Christianity has evolved over the last 2000 years! I wonder what it will be like in another 2000 years.

  17. Charles Masone April 25, 2019

The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them” (Romans 14:3).

  18. Rachel June 6, 2019

So by your logic, we also shouldnt be eating Carrots, eggplant, corn, watermelon, bananas, peaches, strawberries, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, collard greens kale, potatoes, tomatos, avocado, beets, alfalfa, papaya, summer squash apples and Brussels. ALL OF THESE FOODS have been genetaclly modified through the centuries and therefore are NOT MADE BY GOD. You are using the bible for your own agenda and misleading people down the wrong path, and if you are a Christian then I’m sure you know what the bible says about that.

  19. God designed man to be a frugivore not an herbivore. What you describe are fruits and vegetables, not grasses or leafy greens or plants themselves. Great article!

  20. Sharon June 22, 2019

God’s timing is eternally and so His “day” is a thousand years. So, for the creation time would be at least a thousand years for each day not a 24 hour day like human timing. 2 Peter 3:8; Psalm 90:4

  21. You should take part in a contest for one of the highest quality
websites on the web. I most certainly will recommend
    this web site!

  22. Life is in the Breath and Blood. A True Creator only creates, not Destroys. A True Creator does not change their minds about what to eat or what not to eat.
the Bible has many contradictions. There are no contradictions in Truth.
Read the Book Of Secret Wisdom, and you will know the True Creator.

  23. While I believe the Bible is the Word of God and THE source for how to live our lives in a manner that God intended, it is not a science book. The authors had no idea what science was. Your statement below is stepping out of what the Bible says and into the scientific questions. I’d like to comment on this part of your article: “Carnivorous animals were given very short digestive tracts and very high concentrations of hydrochloric acid to break down and move quickly that flesh through a short digestive system before it was putrefied.” This is a true, scientifically accurate statement. It is also true that this is exactly how the human gut is organized. We have a relatively short gut in comparison to herbivores and fall in line more with a “carnivorous omnivore”, or an animal that eats primarily meat but has the capacity to eat fruits and vegetables as well.
    Taken from the article above:
“Carnivores tend to have a well-developed acid stomach and long small intestine. The human gut with its simple stomach, relatively elongated small intestine and reduced caecum and colon, does not fit any one group but lies between the frugivore and faunivore groups, suggestive of reliance on a high-quality diet in which meat is a predominant component. The size of the human gut relative to body size is also small in comparison with other anthropoids, with a much more pronounced small intestine similar to carnivores.14, 16 Approximate relative proportions of gut volume for humans and some other primates are shown in Table 2.”

I love to explore the Bible in relation to how we are to live our lives, including how to eat…what comments would you have on the fact that GOD requests us the sacrifice our first fruits and in his prescription for sacrifice he desires the organs such as liver, kidney and the fats surrounding these organs as the choicest sacrifice? In fact, the most nutrient dense foods on the planet are organs (the highest source of vitamins, minerals on the planet – because ruminant animals process and bioaccumulate vitamins and minerals for us!)

I appreciate your exploration of diet in the Bible and have come to similar conclusion as you that the Bible is a great source for directing us to a proper human diet…I just wanted to correct that portion of your article and challenge you to expand your view of how GOD constructed humans – to be the most versatile, wonderfully made creations on the planet, capable of eating all kinds of foods, including meat, fruit, vegetables and seeds. Everyone responds to foods differently and we should only be eating the foods that GOD created (not man-made, processed foods).

I’d like to propose that our diet should be the “God Made it Diet” and only eat foods that come directly from God’s creation, and not man-made.

    God Bless!

      Hi Tres,
George retired several years back and now no longer answers blog questions. I worked alongside George many years. In the beginning, he adamantly taught that we should not eat animal products as he believed the best diet was in Genesis 1:29, the original diet, and it was all plants.
However, as time went on, scientific evidence came forth that most people were deficient in DHA. That is when he began teaching that people should take fish oil to supplement their diet. There are DHA supplements from algae, but they are expensive. He also taught that vegans need to take B12 supplements.
Our food no longer has the nutrients it used to. Even with a person eating as close as natural to possible and eating organic, they can still have deficiencies. It is really sad. One such mineral I realized I was deficient in is silica. It helps makes flexible joints. I play a lot of tennis. I used to wake up with a stiff back. After taking silica, it is no longer stiff.
Your questions and comments are great! The bible is NOT a book of formulas but profound wisdom that leads to a loving and lasting relationship with Almighty God…if we are obedient and seek Him with all our hearts.
