Should Kids' Tonsils Be Removed?

Should Kids' Tonsils Be Removed?

Over the years I have been very impressed with Dr. Russell Blaylock, a nationally recognized, board-certified neurosurgeon, health practitioner, author, and lecturer. I have also been a subscriber to his monthly “The Blaylock Wellness Report” for many years. In the September 2015 issue of “The Blaylock Wellness Report” a reader asked the following question: “Should kids’ tonsils be removed”? Following is Dr. Blaylock’s answer:
“My general view is that it is important to preserve the tonsils, as they are a major lymphatic immune guard against infections of the throat. I suggest working with the doctor and maybe getting a second opinion.”

Rev. Malkmus Comments

One of my earliest remembrances is as a three-year-old being wheeled down the hospital corridor on a hospital gurney on the way to the operating room for the removal of my tonsils. On further recollection concerning tonsils, I remember three of my four children having terrible tonsil problems each winter until finally our family doctor said they would all have to have their tonsils out if their tonsil problems didn’t improve by the next winter. This all happened about the time I was diagnosed with colon cancer and I changed to a 100% vegan diet in an effort to stop my cancer’s growth. At the time, I felt if a vegan diet was something that could help me overcome my cancer, it might help with my children’s tonsil problems. So the entire family went on this 100% vegan diet and guess what? The next winter none of the children had tonsil problems and never have since making that diet change some 40 years ago. Addition thoughts concerning tonsils: Some years ago I was listening to a holistic doctor lecture and he said that our immune system has two pop-off valves – the tonsil and the appendix. When the immune system becomes overloaded with toxins, the back-up of these toxins can cause either swelling of the appendix or of the tonsils. Doctors deal with both these problems (swelling of the appendix or tonsils) by removing them. But if the sufferer would get on a plant-based diet, free of all the toxins we had been previously placing in our body, the problem would naturally resolve itself. A 100% plant-based diet, with lots of freshly extracted vegetable juices and blended salads, will supply the resources the body needs to correct most physical problems. And when it comes to the removal of body parts I respond with...
God didn't make any spare parts!
