Raw Nutty/Maple Pie Crust
Just in time to celebrate the holidays, here's a delicious raw crust recipe by Rhonda Malkmus that you can use to create your favorite, wholesome holiday pies. It only derives of a few, plant-based ingredients, yet its so flavorful and easy to make!
- 2 cups raw nuts – pecans are what Rhonda used
- 3-4 tablespoons organic maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla
Place all ingredients in a food processor, blending until finely ground and slightly combined. Transfer mixture to a pie plate and form into a crust. Fill with your favorite raw holiday pie filling and enjoy!
