God’s Health Care System VS The World’s (PART 2)

In last week’s Health Tip, we took a look at the “World’s System” of so-called health care. In this Health Tip, we are going to begin taking a look at one more system regarding the health of the physical body we each possess – God’s system!

First, Some Fantastic Quotes…

Before we talk about God’s system, I am going to share a few quotes from Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, and make a few comments.

“Our food should be our medicine. Our medicine should be our food.”

Here we have Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, saying exactly what Hallelujah Acres has been saying for the past 23 years. Amazingly, though the father of medicine had these words to say about “food,” the average medical doctor of today, who takes the Hippocratic oath — named after Hippocrates — pays no heed to Hippocrates’s words. Why?

It’s probably because the average doctor of today receives less than 2 hours of nutritional training in their entire 8-plus years in medical school. So is it any wonder that the average medical doctor of today, when asked by their patient if diet change might help the physical condition they are experiencing, replies something like this:

“It doesn’t matter what you eat! What you eat has nothing to do with the physical problems you are experiencing.”

Friend, if Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine said, “Our food should be our medicine,” please tell me why doctors prescribe drugs (their version of “medicine”) for our physical problems?

“Everyone has a doctor in him or her; we just have to help in its work. The natural healing force within each of us is the greatest force in getting well.”

Is this what the average doctor of today tells their patient? The truth (which Hallelujah Acres has been saying for the last 23 years) is that health comes by stopping the consumption of what caused the problem, while rebuilding the body with good nutrition. In this way, we cooperate with the body and with God, by rebuilding the immune system and essential organs so the body can do what God designed it to do – heal itself!

“As to disease, make a habit of two things – to help, or at least, to do no harm.”

What is Hippocrates saying here? The same thing Hallelujah Acres has been saying all along – drugs, radiation, and surgery, along with most of the so-called foods contained in the Standard American Diet (SAD), do great harm to the physical body. These same medical modalities and SAD foods make it ever more difficult for the body to heal itself!

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if the doctors of today practiced what Hippocrates is saying here? The drugs doctors prescribe today do the body great harm! Why do you think the average doctor of today prescribes toxic drugs, rather than healing foods when trying to help a patient get well? Might it be because doctors are trained in medical schools controlled and subsidized by the drug industry who make tremendous profit from the drugs they manufacture and the doctors are taught in medical school to prescribe?

“Prayer indeed is good, but while calling on the gods, a man should himself lend a hand.”

It is quite obvious that Hippocrates wasn’t talking about the Creator God (Elohim) here, but he did say something that Hallelujah Acres has been saying right along – “If we want to experience healing, we must cooperate with God in the healing process, by doing our part, by changing our diet and lifestyle, from a toxic one to a healthy one!” Does not this fit right in with what God tells us in James 4:17: “even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead!”

“The doctor of the future will give no medicine (drugs) but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease. The physician of tomorrow will be the nutritionist of today.”

This quote did not come from Hippocrates, but rather they are the words of Thomas A. Edison, the man who discovered electricity. Edison spoke these words of wisdom some 100 years ago, and yet they are as up-to-date as tomorrow’s newspaper. Interestingly, these words from Edison are EXACTLY what I and Hallelujah Acres have been saying and teaching for the past 23 years!

Self-Healing Is Built-In

Ever since Hallelujah Acres had its beginning, this editor has been teaching that God, when He created man in Genesis 2:7, built self-healing into the genetic coding of the human physical body, and that usually all a person need do to maintain physical health, or even recover from an illness, is to cooperate with that self-healing God has already placed into their body!

Drugs, radiation, and surgery, rather than assisting in the body’s attempt to heal itself, throws a so-called “monkey wrench” into the body’s self-healing process, making it increasingly difficult for the body to do what God designed it to do with each medical modality they apply. Thousands have written to tell me that their physical problems worsened after going to the doctor and doing what the doctor said!

Ponce de Leon, some 500 years ago, went in search of “The Fountain of Youth,” never realizing that “The Fountain of Youth,” had already been placed into the human physical body by God at creation — and all one had to do to renew or restore their youth was to change their diet from the SAD diet of this world, to God’s diet as given in Genesis 1:29.

Consider what God had to say in this regard in Psalm 103:5…

“who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”

In 1976, at the age of 42, I was told I had a potentially life-threatening physical problem – colon cancer. But thanks to the advice of Evangelist Lester Roloff, I changed my diet, and “satisfied thy (my) mouth with good things; so that thy (my) youth is (was) renewed like the eagle’s.”

The “good things” I satisfied my mouth with were the very foods God told us we were to consume in Genesis 1:29. The result? Within one year of making the diet change, my cancer, along with all the other physical problems I was experiencing at the time, were GONE!

And 40-plus years later, as I am about to enter my mid-80s, my physical abilities are almost as great as when I was a teenager.

The medical profession, like Ponce de Leon’s search for youth, are misdirected. They have been searching for ways to heal the body from the OUTSIDE, by the administration of drugs, radiation, chemotherapy, surgeries, and the like. But what they have totally failed to understand is that the solution to the physical ills of mankind cannot be accessed from the OUTSIDE of the body, because self-healing is only to be found on the INSIDE.

I am not so sure the medical community has totally missed this fact, because if the body can heal itself, what would be the need for doctors and drugs? Maybe this will help us better understand why the medical community, rather than prescribing healing foods for our physical ills, tell us that “diet and lifestyle have nothing whatsoever to do with the physical problems we are experiencing.”

Dear friend, the mystery of health is not on the outside of the body, but rather on the inside! God has already built health into each one of us! It is already there! And all one need do to experience that health, yes that ultimate health God designed for His human creation, is to cooperate with the body by nourishing it as God designed.

Ah, the sweet mystery of health is within! It is only when a person realizes that the power to heal is not in the doctor, or his drugs, or surgeries, but the power to heal has already been placed within each of us by God, and usually all a person need do to begin traveling down the road that leads to ultimate health is change what they eat and start exercising!

Health Is A Matter of Choice

The longer a person travels down the road of trying to find health on the outside, through the medical modalities of drugs, radiation, vaccines, surgeries, and the like, the further that person travels in the wrong direction, and away from the ultimate health God designed for them.

Yes, my friend, health is a matter of choice! You either want to live a healthier life, which can be obtained ONLY by eating healthy foods and exercising, or you don’t.

The CHOICE IS YOURS!

Clearly, the solution to the physical problems we are experiencing are not to be found in this world’s system of disease care, rather it can only be found in “God’s health care system”!

Consider what God has to say about the world’s system in I Corinthians 3:18-19:

“Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.”

As we conclude this Health Tip, let’s remember that there are two systems available to us today – the world’s disease care system, and god’s health care system. yes, health is a matter of choice! which will you choose?

Next week, the good Lord willing and if the creeks don’t rise too high we will return with another exciting issue of the Hallelujah Health Tip. Trust you will join us and that you will share these Health Tips with friends and loved ones.
