    I have read that when you make smoothies in a high speed blender like the Vitamix which is what I have, then you lose all nutrients and enzymes. Is this true? Sure hope not.

    • You certainly don’t lose them all, though there may be more of a loss of some nutrients over what you would get from one of the best low speed juicers. Though I can’t remember where I read it, the high speed blenders would be more along the lines nutrient-wise of what you would get with a high speed centrifugal juicer (not all juicers are equal in what they produce). As the video above pointed out, though, there are pros and cons to both blending and to juicing – include both in your routine if you can!
