Arthritis: A Natural Approach

In last week’s Health Tip I began the article with these words:

“Let’s conduct a little contest in this Health Tip. In one corner we are going to place the “wisdom of this World” and in the other corner the “wisdom of God”. By the time we reach the conclusion of this Health Tip, I will let you dear reader, be the honest referee who determines which corner wins the contest.”

After last week’s introduction I went on to share some startling facts about how the “wisdom of this world” had failed miserably in its attempt to eliminate arthritis in the bodies of arthritis sufferers in spite of all the resources and money available to the medical community.

We concluded last week’s Health Tip by saying that if we want to win the battle against arthritis — or any other disease — we must stop spending money seeking new drugs to mitigate pain, swelling, and suffering, and rather seek the cause!

If the cause of arthritis as well as other physical problems can be determined, and when that cause is eliminated, we have found the CURE.

Sadly, and to the shame of the medical community, the scientific community, and Arthritis Foundation, seeking the cause of arthritis is not and has not been their goal or priority!

But now comes the sad and almost criminal part…

… the cause of arthritis has already been determined!

Arthritis sufferers are consuming a diet and pursuing a lifestyle that is creating their arthritis!

By simply changing diet and lifestyle, arthritis can be prevented and in most instances reversed. This statement has already been proven to be true by multitudes of previous arthritis sufferers.

So if the cause of arthritis has already been determined to be improper diet and lifestyle, would you not think the Arthritis Foundation would be using their research billions documenting this fact and disseminating that information to arthritic sufferers?

Sadly, rather than promoting that simple diet and lifestyle change can, in most instances, eliminate arthritic pain and suffering, they are doing everything they can to keep sufferers from obtaining and access to that information.

“Prove it,” you say?

Here is what the Arthritis Foundation has to say regarding the relationship of diet to arthritis:

“The truth about diet and arthritis may surprise you. It is simply this: There is NO special diet for arthritis. No specific food has anything to do with causing it. And no special diet will cure it.”

This statement deceives millions of arthritis sufferers! Having no hope, they continue suffering unnecessary agonizing pain and the horrible side effects of pain relieving drugs. These practices have caused thousands to die prematurely, while billions of dollars continue to be spent annually for ineffective medical treatments.

Sadly, the Arthritis Foundation has failed to rescind or correct the damaging information they are disseminating.

Regarding the failure of the Arthritis Foundation to make the link between diet and arthritis known, Dr. John McDougall, a medical doctor, had the following to say:

“The failure of the Arthritis Foundation, and almost every rheumatologist (arthritis specialist), to encourage people to try a change in diet first, might be forgiven if there were effective alternatives, like medications. Unfortunately, the most high-tech, modern medications available today never cure arthritis, are relatively ineffective at even moderating the progress of the disease, have serious, and sometimes fatal side effects, and can cost more than $10,000 a year to take.

“Compare these facts to the results from a change to a low-fat, pure vegetarian diet, which often cures arthritis with no side effects, reduces food bills by about 40%, and without a doubt, has many other health benefits (less cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and always relieves constipation).

“If you are bold enough, next time you have the opportunity, ask an arthritis ‘specialist’ for a single scientific study (not just someone’s opinion) that shows diet fails to help people with arthritis – then compare their response with the evidence . . . Do your part and tell your suffering friends there is help for people afflicted with most forms of inflammatory arthritis. It is cost free (and profit free) and a lot easier than spending a miserable life in a wheelchair.”

Why Has A Cure For Arthritis Not Been Found?

I hate to have to say this, but it is quite obvious to me at least, that the medical community, along with the scientific community and Arthritis Foundation, are not looking for a cure!

In fact, when you read what the purpose of the Arthritis Foundation is, you find not a word about the Foundation seeking a CURE for arthritis. Following is what they say their purpose is:

“The Arthritis Foundation offers medical advice, physician referrals, a drug guide, books, brochures and more resources to help make living with arthritis easier. It also publishes the award-winning lifestyle magazine, Arthritis Today. Through local offices nationwide, the Foundation sponsors exercise classes, as well as a variety of year-round events to raise funds and create awareness, from local walks and runs to dinners, galas and other affairs.”

Why does the Arthritis Foundation not state as its goal “finding a cure for arthritis?”

If a cure for arthritis was acknowledged and disseminated, there would be no need for an Arthritis Foundation, and all those employed by the Arthritis Foundation would be out of a job.

Also, if a cure for arthritis were found, the medical community would lose the roughly $322 billion a year that is currently being spent in the treatment of arthritis by doctors and drug companies.

Not to mention, the research community would no longer receive over $12 billion in arthritis research funding.

Friends, when dealing with disease the “world’s way”, using the “world’s wisdom”, we need to realize that many of those involved in the research and treatment of these diseases are not involved for altruistic purposes. Rather, we need to follow the money trail: Who is profiting from the treatment and research of the disease?

Here’s part of an interesting article by NewsMax Health dated March 5, 2015:

“A staggering 1.5 million Americans each year are victims of prescription medication mistakes” say experts, and many of these are senior citizens. “Someone dies at home every hour of the day from errors in taking and prescribing medications,” Michael Negrete, CEO of the Pharmacy Foundation of California, tells Newsmax Health. “It’s one of the top causes of death in the country, and the numbers are growing.”

 What Causes Arthritis?

In order to find a cure for arthritis (or any other disease) we must divert our efforts from treating the disease to seeking the CAUSE of the disease!

No one has ever overcome arthritis through the use of drugs or surgeries!

Mitigating symptoms will never cure arthritis. Ask any arthritis sufferer if the medical community has cured them of the disease.

The official position of the Arthritis Foundation is that diet and arthritis are not related as we read earlier. Sadly, very little research has been done to justify this assertion, and rather than placing their research efforts and dollars looking into the possible relationship of improper diet and lifestyle to arthritis, virtually all research monies have gone into the testing of drugs that hopefully will someday relieve symptoms.

Research Reveals Amazing Results

In his book ‘Diet For A New America,’ John Robbins writes:

“At Wayne State University Medical School, there were a few medical researchers willing to investigate the heresy that diet might have something to do with arthritis. They put six rheumatoid arthritis patients on a fat-free diet. The results were startling. In seven weeks, all of the subjects showed total disappearance of their symptoms. When fats were reintroduced into their diets, it took only three days for symptoms to reappear.”

“In 1981, the British Medical Journal reported another instance that suggests the Arthritis Foundation’s conclusions might be premature. It involved a 38-year-old woman, who for 11 years had been suffering from steadily worsening rheumatoid arthritis. Three weeks after doctors removed all dairy products from her diet she showed signs of improvement. In four months, her arthritis symptoms had completely disappeared. She remained free of symptoms until, in the interest of scientific curiosity, she once again ate some cheese and milk. The next day her joints were swollen, stiff and painful. Fortunately, her symptoms again disappeared as she resumed her abstinence from dairy products.”

In his book “Proof Positive”, the author Neil Nedley, M.D. writes:

“Arthritis and other bone and joint disorders are among the leading causes of disabilities in America. Current estimates from the U.S. Centers of Disease Control are that these diseases afflict some 40 million Americans. . .

“Scandinavian researchers placed individuals with severe rheumatoid arthritis on a total vegetarian diet for an entire year. After a single month on this dietary program, they analyzed the patients and found a decreased number of tender and swollen joints. Their grip strength was better. Furthermore, their problems with severe joint stiffness in the mornings had improved. . . Perhaps most importantly, the patients on the vegetarian diet felt better—by actual measurement on a health assessment questionnaire. . .”

A Plea To Arthritis Sufferers

For those of you who suffer with arthritis, won’t you please choose to at least consider a change in diet and lifestyle?

The Hallelujah Diet has already made it possible for hundreds of others suffering with both osteo and rheumatoid arthritis, as well as gout arthritis, to live a pain-free life.

In Deuteronomy 30:19, God tells us:

“I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life that both thou and thy seed may live.”

A Bible verse found in Hosea 4:6 would also fit nicely here:

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”

The innate wisdom God, programmed into our bodies, is always working toward wellness. Our body is constantly trying to keep us alive and well despite that we foolishly place harmful substances into it.

Our body is always trying to correct any imbalances it finds within and sends us warning signals when it can’t fix the problem without our help.

In the case of arthritis, the body cannot fix the problem as long as that person continues to consume foods high in animal fat and protein, the cause of arthritis. Thus the body signals there is a problem with pain. Pain is a warning signal being sent by our body to inform us of an internal problem.

Sadly, we have a medical community that does not deal with physical problems by seeking and eliminating their cause.

Rather, our country’s medical system tries to cover up the symptom (in the case of arthritic pain) with drugs. Drugs do absolutely nothing to eliminate the CAUSE, but rather deal only with the symptom, and thus keep the sufferer dependent on the medical community and drug industry for the rest of their life.

If a person pursues the medical approach the problem never goes away, and in the case of arthritis, that person will have to suffer with that debilitating problem and be on drugs for the rest of their life, while their quality of life continues to deteriorate. Friend, there is a better way than the “World’s Way” of dealing with arthritis, and it’s “God’s Way!”

Rhonda’s Debilitating Arthritis Disappears

When Rhonda (my wife) attended one of my earliest “How to Eliminate Sickness” seminars back in 1991, she was so stove up with arthritis she was almost crippled. She couldn’t turn her head half an inch in either direction, couldn’t walk a block without extreme pain, had to soak in hot water each morning just to obtain enough loosening of her joints to partially function. And she often took 4-6 ibuprofens an hour in an effort to try and keep the arthritic pain at a tolerable level.

Prior to attending that seminar, Rhonda had consumed large amounts of both animal flesh and dairy products, including cheese, so when she heard me state in that seminar that animal source foods were the primary cause of arthritis, she immediately became interested in my theory, but remained a skeptic.

Desperate for relief from the pain and debilitation associated with her arthritis, Rhonda says she made the diet change just to prove me wrong… while quietly hoping that what I was teaching could help her.

The very next day, Rhonda adopted the Hallelujah Diet 100%, totally eliminating all animal source foods, adopted an 85/15 percent raw to cooked vegan diet (the Hallelujah Diet), and began a simple walking program.

Within one year of making that simple diet and lifestyle change, all her arthritic symptoms had totally disappeared; she was daily walking 4 miles in less than an hour, pain-free; she had lost 85 pounds in weight; and was no longer a skeptic. That was in 1991!

Rhonda and I were married on April 11, 1992, and together, for the past 20 plus years, we have been living the Hallelujah Diet and telling anyone who will listen: “You don’t have to be sick” if they will just stop consuming animal source foods, along with refined sugar and refined grains, table salt and caffeine, the causes of most physical problems, and start consuming a basically raw plant sourced diet, and start exercising.

If you are a skeptic like Rhonda was before making the diet change, how about putting your skepticism to the test, it can’t hurt, and it might just be the solution for your arthritic condition or that of a friend or loved one with whom you will want to share this information.

How Is God’s Wisdom Doing?

  1. I believe in the Word of God and the Hallelujah Diet. I have seven results in my sister’s health. My problem is food preparation and dIscipline.   2. My husband had been a mechanic for almost 30 yrs and the arthritis was in his hands and legs from years of standing in the same position & of course the detail of manual work with his hands. He tried the medical way using the prescribed Meds & they did not help! So he too was introduced to elinaniting foods and Lo & Behold the pain & changing of the fingers stopped!
    We have been juicing carrots now over 14 yrs now – yes every morning (except for 1.5 mo on our Asia/Europe!) we are enjoying life in the fullest & are both thankfully in good health! What a Joy to live pain free in our retirement! That’s the gift God for us! Eating “life” food in the grocery store section has made ALL the difference!
    Oh I pray YOU too make some changes in your life & watch and see the results!

    I saw a friend Health Ministr oday and she said she saw you demonstrating Fit10 and you had muacles like a 25 yea old athlete!     This was some good information for anyone that is being bother with arthritis. I enjoyed reading it because I have had
    problems with arthritis myself, I will be willing to just get rid of the cheese and the dairy to get relief from the pain. Thanks again for all the information.
