    I learned from this article foods that interfere with joint health are fast foods, sugary foods, foods high in flour content, soda pop, fried foods, trans fats, meats and dairy products.

    Foods that support joint health are chia seeds, hemp seeds, clean fish oil, walnuts, flax seeds, dark leafy green vegetables, and berries.

    The body doesn’t properly absorb calcium and vitamin D unless a balanced mix of other important minerals, such as magnesium and potassium is present.

    I believe that it is true that dairy foods do contribute to arthritis. Whenever I turn back to using whole milk in my oatmeal in a few days I start to experience pain in my knees. I stopped using milk recently, again, and the pain has gone away. I also stopped using the salad dressing that Chic-fil-a (Where I work) has that contains a good dose of cows milk. I actually first cut down the quarter cup of milk that I mixed with water in my oatmeal, then just cut it out totally. The small banana that I slice up in the oatmeal helps with the taste. I use the old fashioned oatmeal. I am a diabetic so I use smaller bananas. I am lactose intolerant and have tried almond milk, but even that upsets my tummy.
