Not The End – It’s Just the Beginning

Yesterday, Rev. Malkmus (AKA Dad), announced that the All I want for Christmas… Health Tip would be his last. Most people wouldn’t appreciate what is involved with writing a blog but let me just say that it takes a lot of work. And I can say, that Dad being the perfectionist, that he is has put his heart and soul into each and every one.

945 health tips, or 945 articles. Can you imagine?  That is over 18 years of writing one tip every week! For each tip a topic or theme needs to be identified.  Then the research, drafting, writing, reviewing, editing and re-writing ensues.  Be assured, a lot of effort goes into creating one not to mention 18 years’ worth. Ann and I often comments about how much effort goes into our Health Days each week. Its hard to believe how quickly the weeks fly by and before you know it we’re on the next deadline.

Now, some people use what they call ghost writers, people who are paid to write the article. But, not Rev. Malkmus! He has written nearly every one one of them completely by himself. Even when he had the hectic travel/speaking schedule. Before he would leave on a trip, he would try to get a couple written in advance so his tips went out on time as scheduled. Of course, Rhonda has always been his sounding board, reviewer and cheerleader.

The testimonies that have poured in have kept him motivated to keep writing. There have been several times over the years when he started to lose the motivation to keep writing but then a special healing report would come in his email and he would be re-inspired to keep going. I was actually starting to wonder if he would ever really say “enough is enough” and stop writing. Over the years we’ve encouraged Dad to stop or at least cut back as he felt led. Well, I guess that time has finally come.

I’ve always been amazed at how new and fresh the Genesis 1:29 message has always been to Rev. Malkmus. Dad can write nearly the same things he has written many times before and get excited to be able to read it to anyone who would listen just as if it was the first time he ever uttered those words. He has never gotten tired of sharing this life giving message the Lord gave him nearly 30 years ago.

His love of God and the Bible has also been inspiring to many. Not only to me and our family but also to so many he has impacted over the years. Here are just a few of the verses that he has quoted over and over again throughout the his many writings (and lectures).

Genesis 1:29 –

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

Romans 12:1 –

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Roman’s 12:2 –

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

3 John 1:2 –

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Psalms 139:14 –

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Deuteronomy 30:19 –

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

And let’s not forget Galatians 6:7 –

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

So what now? Rev. Malkmus’ health tip has been used to maintain the Biblical grounding of the Hallelujah Diet message. How God created our miraculous self-healing bodes then provided us with specific instructions how to nourish these beautiful bodies in
Genesis 1:29 is the foundation of who we are. And, it will always be this way. The Hallelujah Diet is God’s gift to man-kind has been delivered effectively by Rev. Malkmus for many years.

But, just because Dad is no longer writing the health tip doesn’t mean his voice and this foundational/core message will cease. Rather, the Hallelujah Health tip will continue to deliver the same type of convicting, biblically inspired messages that have been presented for over 18 years. This is core to the belief structure of the Hallelujah Diet team.

A breakout of the current schedule of health messages provided by the Hallelujah Diet includes:

  • Hallelujah Health Tip (Monday) – This is the Biblical focused message we have been discussing above that Rev. Malkmus has been writing.
  • Health News (Tuesday) – This blog is focused on current world topics like GMO, national awareness months with the Hallelujah Diet’s perspective, product introductions or updates and other Hallelujah Diet news.
  • Health Days with AM/PM (Wednesday) – We try to have more of a relationship or practical application approach to the writing. We keep our eyes and ears open for current events, new research or other hot topics that would be of interest to people looking to regain or maintain health.
  • The Science of Her (Thursday) – Provides focus on women’s health issues including hormones, thyroid and providing nutritional support through various stages of life.
  • Cancer Blog (Friday) – With cancer being the leading killer in the world this blog provides timely information on how a lifestyle change can provide positive results against this devastating disease. It enhances and expounds upon the information provided in Unravel the Mystery: A Simple, Effective Approach to Beating Cancer
  • Weekly Recap (Saturday) – Compiles all the information sent out throughout the week.

While the Hallelujah Health Tip is focused on the Biblical message the others re-enforce these concepts just with a different emphasis. Our goal is to provide readers with information on a range of the most relevant topics so we can help people experience the vibrant health that God intended when he 1st created us why back in the Garden of Eden.

So, rest assured that the Biblical Health Message will continue without interruption.

My husband and I have learned so much from these newsletters. You’ve opened our eyes and changed our way of thinking. The world’s sad diet verses the Hallelujah diet differs so greatly. Thank you for putting a spark within us to eat healthier. We started juicing this May and have given up many different foods. Although we were not plagued by many issues, we still feel better mentally just knowing that we are doing our bodies a world of good with each change that we make. We gave up eating pork and beef about 32 years ago, but now we’ve given up eating chicken and turkey. So very grateful for all that you’ve done…for taking the time to care about the health and well being of other people. We applaud you for all your efforts put forth. Congratulations on your next venture in life. Sincerely, Michael and Roberta Morin~

  5. well done Rev.Malkums.He that has begun a good work in you shall complete it until the day of Lord Jesus,Amen. Not finished, just began!SHALOM.

So very thankful for your encouragement, advice, and example! I would be getting pretty limited by arthritis as were my parents if a friend hadn’t steered us toward Hallelujah Acres about 15 years ago. We are so thankful to be fully active and taking no prescriptions at age 74. I praise God for you and Rhonda and my wonderful health minister friend! Blessings on you! Karen

Thank you dear brother in Christ, and the entire HD team! Enjoy a bit of a respite, but keep speaking out as the LORD leads. I live in the New England area, and I sure wish the Hallelujah ministry were located somewhere close by as it is very hard to find like minded individuals, and cancer is a scourge up in these parts. So few recognize the role diet plays in health, and fewer still see God’s wisdom in designing our bodies to be able to heal itself provided the proper nutrients. Thank you again for the many years of faithful service!

    Dear Rev Malkmus,
I have been reading your letters since 1996 and when your emails were introduced to the present. I have incorporated many of the healthy foods into my diet as well as Barley, Beet, Carrot Max and Probiotics. In 2004 I was
diagnosed with Lymes disease. Because my fever was so high it would not even register on a digital thermometer. Raised red welts the size of baseballs eventually covered my body. Because of Gods grace and mercy and following up with a very strong antibiotic plus juicing and all the dietary supplements that you suggested. I am completely healed and no traces of Lymnes. I am now a grandmother of 8 and they all follow the healthy eating in their own families. You have been a Blessing to me. Thank You……..I have peace to know that my family is on the right road to a healthy life because you were failthful to share all
you knew to be healthy!!! God Bless you and your family this Christmas and enjoy a Healthy, Happy, Prosperous, Blessed New Year 2016.
    Karen

I am thankful for the journey and path you have chosen to take, without it I know I would not be here. Let the world not be on your shoulders and take rest in knowing your message is being spread to those who have ears to hear and eyes to see. Thank you!
