Not All Healthy Foods are Detoxifying

Monday we started a 7-Day Detox with about 5,000 other participants. Its been exciting to see so many positive results after just a few short days. One participant reported that her bloating significantly reduced in just one day. Others slept better and had more energy than in years. Many are commenting about having mild headaches or being a little tired. For most, this is the first time they have ever tried to detox so they have been pleased to have all the materials that Ann developed. Not All Healthy Foods are Detoxifying There is a difference between eating clean foods and eating detoxifying foods. All detoxifying foods are healthy, but not all healthy foods are detoxifying. Many of the organs in the body help in eliminating the toxic substances. To help them function normally, we need to know the best nourishment to provide for their normal functioning. Cruciferous vegetables like cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower and brussels sprouts help the liver in detoxifying harmful substances. Other food items include bright colored vegetables and fruits like peppers, tomatoes, lemons, berries and apricots and also foods containing sulfur like onion and garlic. The kidneys dilute the toxins, filter the blood, and remove harmful substances and excess water from the body. Therefore, one should drink plenty of water for the kidneys to function properly. In addition, parsley leaf, juicy fruits, herbal teas and vegetables are vital for the normal functioning of kidneys. The gut filters the harmful ingredients present in the stomach and then sends the filtered content to the liver for further processing. The bowels excrete the harmful toxins along with the feces. Abnormal functioning of bowels can cause reabsorption of toxins back into the blood stream. Fibrous foods, beans, oats, barley, lentils, vegetables like broccoli, cabbage and carrots, fruits like berries, dried fruits, prunes and apples are excellent nourishment for the gut to detoxify. The skin plays a huge role in getting rid of the harmful toxins through sweat, oil and shedding of dead cells. Flaxseeds, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, water, fruits, and vegetables help the skin in detoxification. The lymphatic system helps to remove the waste products and toxins from the body. Water is highly essential to help in the detoxification of the lymphatic system. Gentle exercise on a rebounder has proven to have great benefit as well. Lungs remove carbon dioxide and other harmful and toxic gases from the body when you breathe out. Onions, blackberries, apples, blueberries, and raspberries help in the normal detoxification process of the lungs. Isn’t God’s creation incredible? He made the body to clean out toxins and gave us the foods to help get the job done. All we have to do is follow His plan. These foods we just talked about will work well when used in the pureed soups during the detox. After the detox, ensure you continue eating these valuable foods so the detoxification can continue. Through our 7-Day Detox we are giving the body a break from the normal process of digesting foods and allowing it to focus on removing toxins from the body and building new healthy cells. If you haven’t tried the 7-Day Detox we encourage you to give it a try and see the benefits of house cleaning for yourself. You’ll be amazed at how your body responds. Oh by the way, we’ve now setup the detox program so you can start it at any time it is convenient for you.
