Sesame Kelp Noodles
My Sesame Kelp Noodles are a breeze to make since there’s no cooking involved! That also means it’s mostly raw and, therefore, excellent for your health.
- Blend all ingredients together until smooth.
- Sauce should be slightly thick, because the veggies will leach out water and thin the sauce when you toss everything together.
- In a mixing bowl, pour the sauce over the noodles and veggies, and toss.
- Sprinkle toasted sesame seed sesame seeds in for extraflavor.
- Garnish with a little extra chopped cilantro and green onions.
- Serve and enjoy.
This looks great, can’t wait to try!!! I went out but couldn’t find the Sesame Kelp Noodles. Any ideas? The sauce/dressing sounds like something I could put on a lot. Thanks for your help
Kelp Noodles are normally found near the rice area at your local market.
This recipe is easy and very delicious – definitely a keeper!
The addition of bits of fresh mint, will kick this recipe up, to make it taste more authentic.
I think you will find it more refreshing… and it will help with your digestion.
I truly don’t suggest the addition of agave nectar…. a good maple syrup, or organic stevia
with no other additives in it.. would be a safer way to go, in my opinion.

PS. I would make sure that my red peppers are peeled, if they are commercial.
They say they are coated with vegetable wax, disaster time, if they are coated with
CORN wax. They are not too difficult to grow yourself. to avoid this issue.
Agree with poster – agave nectar is EXTREMELY high on the glycemic index – ’bout 70%, whereas, maple sugar, honey are much lower. Avoid xylitol, erythritol, etc. There are several wonderful sugar subs out now – organic coconut sugar or organic coconut nectar, both of which are extremely low on the glycemic index – mere grams. Vegan, GF, non-GMO. So much safer ∧ better for your health and you can’t tell the difference!
I recently bought coconut nectar and will use it in place of the agave which I try to avoid. I wasn’t even aware of kelp noodles and look forward to making this soon! In fact, I may use the rice or soba noodles in my pantry and have this for dinner! Thank you so much! (i’m making the chia pudding for dessert using fresh-made coconut milk since don’t have any hazelnuts)
