At Hallelujah Diet, the goal is to empower our miraculous self-healing, so it can be set free from sickness. The body is designed to heal itself, but toxic foods must be eliminated and replaced with foods full of nutrition to give it a chance. Rev. Malkmus, the founder of the Hallelujah Diet calls refined white sugar a “killer” food. This wonderful recipe is a fabulous replacement for the desserts and snacks filled with refined sugar, as well as highly processed oils. These types of fresh natural dishes are delicious. More importantly, they allow us to declare our independence from foods that lead to poor health, to ones that promote feeling our best. Let Freedom Ring.

Raspberry Strawberry Sour Cream

  1. Soak cashews in enough water to cover them for at least 30 minutes or longer. Discard the water after soaking.
  2. Soak torn date in 6 Tbsp. water and 2 Tbsp. lemon juice for 30 minutes or so. Do not discard this mixture.
  3. Place ALL ingredients into a food processor with the “S” blade.
  4. Process until creamy. Add a little extra water if needed for desired consistency.

How to Plate

  1. Cut strawberries to form a star.
  2. Heap blueberries in the middle, as well as around the star.
  3. Place desired amount of Raspberry Strawberry Sour Cream over blueberries.
  4. Garnish with desired amount of almonds. Slivered almonds are all white as the skin has been removed. Sliced almonds still have a brown border as the skin remains.

Note

  1. Frozen raspberries and strawberries can be used when making cream. Measure them out while frozen, then allow them to thaw before making the cream.
