In late March 1998, after surgery, Karen's colon tumor was proven to have changed from cancerous to benign, by certified biopsy. She also is no longer plagued by the monthly migraine headaches from which she had suffered for over thirty years. She lost 30 lbs, dropping four dress sizes. Her eyes sparkle. Her skin shines. Now four years after being diagnosed with life-threatening cancer, she looks better and healthier at age 61 than she ever has.
In the same four-month period, Gary's chronic fatigue syndrome disappeared. His energy level is now better than it was before he got sick. He walks four miles in an hour most days, and he has the physique and weighs what he did in his early twenties. In addition, chronic shoulder pain has disappeared and symptoms from an enlarged prostate and hemorrhoids have gone away. Gary, like Karen, now gets compliments about how healthy he looks at age 60.
Our heavenly Father's heart for everyone, though, is that we will find healing and peace for our souls and spirits, forever, as well as healing for our bodies here on earth. 'For God so loved the world (all of us, no matter what we've done) that He gave His one and only Son (Jesus) that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.' (John 3:16)
