When battling obesity we recommend the following:

  • Follow the Hallelujah Diet. This is a plant based meal plan that is 85% raw, 15% cooked (which is approximately 1 cooked vegan meal per day). Refer to the Hallelujah Diet Get Started Guide. Click here to download.
  • Have your thyroid checked — this is highly recommended! Ask your healthcare provider to check levels of T3, Reverse T3, T4 and TSH.
  • Remove unhealthy fats – heated and processed oils.
  • Consume smaller meals more often — five to six small meals each day.
  • Exercise is a must. Start slow and set attainable goals. Include resistance exercise using weights as this will help to burn unwanted fat.
  • 2 fresh 8 oz vegetable juices each day consisting of 2/3 carrot and 1/3 greens and other vegetables.
  • Minimize fats and sugars. Consume plenty of raw vegetables
  • Minimize fruits and nuts to assist in weight loss
  • Eat a large salad with every meal – this can be traditional, blended or green smoothie.
  • Drink plenty of water (1/2 oz of liquid per pound of body weight – this includes water from raw foods and raw juices). We recommend alkaline and/or distilled.
  • After 3 months, add Hydroboost to distilled water to increase protection against free radicals, improve hydration to your cells, and boost nutrition.
  • Hormones may also need to be checked as this can impact the ability to maintain healthy weight.
