Last week, we took a brief look at the Standard American Diet (SAD) and saw that in almost every area of nutrition it is woefully lacking. Today, we are going to zero in on what I consider to be the most dangerous and destructive of all the foods we have available with which to fuel our bodies: animal sourced foods. Animal sourced foods, both meat and dairy, are the cause or contributing cause of the majority of the physical problems being experienced today.

Animal Sourced Foods Foods Are The Most Dangerous Of All Fuels?

The most dangerous diets are those that contain foods coming from an animal, and it doesn’t matter which animal that food is coming from, or whether it is the flesh or the milk of that animal! All animal sourced foods are dangerous fuels that have the potential of doing great harm to the body. If this is true (and The China Study proves scientifically that it is true), then we must conclude that any diet that promotes animal sourced foods is a dangerous diet! And the greater the percentage of animal sourced foods contained in a diet, the more dangerous that diet becomes. Do you realize just how many diets contain animal sourced foods? This includes not only the Standard American Diet (SAD), which we spent an entire Health Tip exposing last week, but would also include the Atkin’s Diet; Maker's Diet; South Beach Diet; Blood Type Diet; Jenny Craig Diet; Zone Diet; Weight Watchers Diet; Nutri-System Diet, and we could go on.

Plant Sourced Foods Are The Best Fuels

Vegetarian diets, which contain no meat (beef, pork, lamb, poultry, or fish), but do allow some dairy and eggs are naturally low in saturated fat, high in fiber, and full of vitamins, minerals, and cancer-fighting compounds. A multitude of scientific studies have shown that vegetarian diets have remarkable health benefits and can help prevent certain diseases, such as cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. Vegan diets, which contain no meat (beef, pork, lamb, poultry, or fish) and differ from a vegetarian diet by excluding all dairy and eggs, are even healthier than vegetarian diets. Vegan diets contain no cholesterol and even less fat, saturated fat, and calories than vegetarian diets because they exclude dairy and eggs. The China Study reveals that health benefits increase as the amount of food from animal sources in the diet decrease, making vegan diets the healthiest diets available to mankind today. God’s original diet, as found in the Bible in Genesis 1:29 was a 100% vegan diet.

Genesis 1:29 Diet

To determine what diets are the best diets, containing the best fuels with which to nourish the human physical body, we need a standard to weigh all diets against! And there is only one place we can go to find that standard – the Bible – the Word of God! In the Bible, in the book of Genesis, we learn that God created Adam, the first human to walk the face of this earth, along with the building materials God used to create him:
“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Genesis 2:7
Next we learn that God planted a Garden “And the Lord God planted a garden eastward of Eden. . . (Genesis 2:8).(Note: On each of the six days of creation, all God had to do was speak the words and each day of creation was fulfilled. But when it came to the garden into which God placed Adam the Bible says “God PLANTED a garden.” And what did God do next?
“And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the Garden of Eden, to dress it, and to keep it.” Genesis 2:15
And finally we learn what God told Adam he should eat in order to properly nourish his God created physical body.
“AND GOD SAID, Behold, I have given you every herb (VEGETABLE) bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the FRUIT of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat (FOOD, FUEL).” Genesis 1:29

The Hallelujah Diet

The Hallelujah Diet is a diet comprised of 100% plant sourced foods. It contains nothing of animal origin, no animal flesh or dairy, and thus is patterned after God’s original Genesis 1:29 vegan diet. Furthermore, we have learned earlier that scientific research of The China Study "shows that health benefits increase as the amount of food from animal sources in the diet decreases, making vegan diets the healthiest diets available to mankind today.”

Why Are Animal Sourced Foods So Dangerous?

There are so many reasons why the flesh and milk of animals are so dangerous, but first and foremost, the human body as designed by God was not built to efficiently handle flesh foods. Here's the proof...

Flesh Foods Are Devoid Of Fiber

The digestive tract of man is approximately 30 feet in length and has many loops, pockets, and bends. The digestive tract of the human body was designed by God to move food through those 30 feet by means of fiber. The only source of FIBER is plant sourced foods. There is absolutely NO FIBER to be found in anything of animal origin. The plant based diet God told man he was to consume for nourishment (fuel) in Genesis 1:29 was loaded with fiber. When high fiber foods are consumed, they digest quickly and complete their journey through the 30 feet of the digestive tract in about 16 hours. Flesh foods, because they contain zero fiber, have nothing to propel them through the digestive tract. Because of this fact, flesh moves very sluggishly through the body, taking as long as 3 to 4 days to complete the journey that fiber does in 16 hours. Body temperature is approximately 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. On that 3-to-4-day journey, flesh putrifies in an atmosphere of nearly 100 degrees. The putrefying of that flesh is the primary cause of body odor. Those who consume a 100% plant based vegan diet seldom experience body odor. Putrefying flesh is also the primary cause of most colon problems – colitis, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), diverticulitis, diverticulosis, and colon cancer. Here at Hallelujah Acres we have received testimonies of every one of these conditions simply going away after a person stops the intake of animal flesh and adopts a 100% plant based diet. However, some knowledge is necessary when making the switch because raw vegetables can aggravate the condition for a short time. This is where the high intake of vegetable juices, which have had all fiber removed before consuming, comes to the forefront. Fiberless juices provide the body with the building materials to heal the colon lining. It doesn't take long for the lining to heal, at which time the individual can re-introduce fiber into their diet, ideally in the form of blended salads and smoothies.

Animal Foods Are Highly Acidic

Disease proliferates in an acid environment and has a very difficult time surviving in an alkaline environment. Animal sourced foods (flesh & dairy) are highly acidic while plant sourced foods are primarily alkaline. Our bodies were designed by God to be alkaline dominant. Not to mention, acid foods are the primary cause of osteoporosis! Here's why... The pH scale runs from 0 to 14. Zero is 100% acid while 14 is 100% alkaline. The pH of our blood is approximately 7.35 on the pH scale, which is slightly alkaline. If the pH of the blood drops below 7.0 which is neutral pH, and into the acid zone – we die. Our body’s primary function is survival. When we constantly place acid foods into our body, the body has to find a way to neutralize that acidity and keep our blood in the alkaline zone. The only means the body has to do this is to find something alkaline within itself to neutralize the acidity — that’s where calcium comes in. Calcium is the greatest source of alkalinity in the body. In an effort to neutralize acidity, the body actually goes into the bones and teeth, extracting the calcium to neutralize the acidity. This causes the bones to become porous, resulting in osteoporosis. An alkaline, vegan diet will not only prevent osteoporosis, but (with exercise) can usually restore bone density.

Animal Foods Are Too High In Fat

Humans need fat, but God designed us to receive our fats in the foods God told us we should eat in Genesis 1:29 — garden foods. Most plant sourced foods contain fat, with such foods as avocados, seeds, and nuts containing the highest amounts of plant sourced fats. God did not design our bodies to receive our fats in the concentrated, saturated form coming from animals. Animal fat raises havoc within the body by building up on the arterial walls and hindering blood flow. Hindered blood flow causes the heart to have to pump harder to push the blood through the build-up. This is the cause of high blood pressure for which people take medications. However, this high blood pressure medication does not stop the fat from building up. If animal foods continue to be consumed, the problem progresses until stents are needed to prop open arteries to allow the blood to flow through, and ultimately, by-pass surgery or a heart attack or stroke. By simply eliminating animal sourced foods from our diet and converting to a 100% plant based vegan diet, we can reduce our risk of ever experiencing a heart attack or stroke by some 96%.

Animal Foods Are Too High In Protein

Our bodies need protein, and were designed by God to receive protein from the plant foods found in the garden. All plant foods contain protein in greater or lesser amounts. Avocados, beans, seeds and nuts are high sources of protein. Plant sourced proteins are good proteins. Interestingly, all protein originates in plants. Plant eating animals receive their protein directly from eating the plant, while carnivorous animals receive their protein by eating the flesh of the plant-eating animals. When a human consumes the flesh of an animal, they are receiving concentrated protein into their bodies. Our bodies were not designed to receive protein in such a concentrated form. These highly concentrated forms of animal protein can both cause and feed cancer. Concentrated and cooked animal protein is also the primary cause of arthritis, gout, and many other physical problems.

Conclusion

There is much more I could share here regarding the dangers of animal sourced foods. Except for the growth hormones and antibiotics found in commercially raised animal sourced foods, the above problems with animal sourced foods apply whether the product is coming from commercial or organic sources. I personally eliminated all animal sourced foods from my diet more than 36 years ago. As a result of eating a vegan diet, my cancer simply went away! As I approach my 80th birthday, I am still alive and well on planet earth with a strong and healthy body and no physical or mental limitations. May the information shared in this Health Tip cause you, dear reader, to seriously consider eliminating animal sourced foods from your diet and giving God’s original, Genesis 1:29 vegan diet a serious try. You have nothing to lose and potentially a lot to gain. That’s it for this week, and the Lord willing and if the creeks don’t rise too high, trust you will join us again next week for another exciting issue of the Hallelujah Acres Health Tip.
