Fruit & Non-Dairy Whipped Cream

Who says desserts have to be fattening?!? Here's a sweet treat that's super-easy to make and won't sit on your waist. This recipe is organic, vegan, all-natural and 100% raw. By the way, men, if you're looking to impress Mom or score points at home, this is it. You don't have to be a master chef. Just press the button and you're done.

Ingredients*

WHIPPED "CREAM"
  • 1 large sweet apple (peeled and quartered)
  • 1/4 cup raw almonds
  • lemon juice to prevent apples from browning (optional)
  • distilled water as needed
FRUIT BOWL
  • 1 banana (sliced)
  • handful of grapes
  • 1 kiwi or a few strawberries (sliced)
*Organic ingredients are always recommended.

Directions

Place the apple, almonds, and lemon juice in a blender or food processor. Begin processing; slowly adding enough water until ingredients are smooth, fluffy, and looking like whipped cream. Pour over fruit bowl and serve... proudly.
