Hallelujah Acres, a local Bible‐based Health and nutrition ministry, will hold a ribbon cutting and Grand Reopening of its Main Building, located at 900 South Post Road in Shelby, on Tuesday, October 13, 2009.  Hallelujah Acres has been headquartered in Shelby since 1997.  In May of this year, Hallelujah Acres experienced a fire at their Main Building, resulting in having to evacuate this building for about 4 months.  They took this opportunity to make some much needed repairs and renovations to the building.  These renovations included installing new carpeting and flooring, new lighting, fresh paint, new ceiling tiles and expansion of both the Health Food Store and the Hallelujah Café.  The Store is approximately 3 times as large as it was previously.  It is much brighter, contains a larger product selection and there has been added a fresh juice and smoothie bar.  The café expects to reopen in November.

Along with the Grand Reopening and Ribbon Cutting ceremony, the Store will offer specials throughout the day.  There will also be drawings every hour for a variety of nice prizes.  Tours of the newly‐renovated facility will be available and refreshments will be served.  The public is invited to this event.
