Frozen Delights

Frozen Delights by George

A delicious summer treat!

This recipe comes from the Editor of this Health Tip: "I like simple raw food recipes! The more complex a recipe, the less likely I am to attempt to try it. And so, I enjoy just going out into our organic garden and popping cherry tomatoes into my mouth right off the vine, husking an ear of corn and eating it fresh and raw off the cob, or going into the blueberry patch or grape vineyard or strawberry bed, and eating them fresh off the plant. Raw fruits and vegetables are such an easy meal, especially considering the health benefits.

But one of my favorite ways to enjoy some of these garden delights is to simply harvest them and immediately freeze them. Right now, the blueberries are in season, and in the evening I go down to the freezer and fill a custard bowl with frozen blueberries, and consume them while still frozen (and I often go back for a second bowl). A little later on when the grapes are ready, I will enjoy frozen grapes. Strawberries are also delicious consumed this way. I find these FROZEN DELIGHTS to be absolutely DELICIOUS, especially when consumed on a hot summer day or evening!" ENJOY!'

Ingredients:

Fruit of Choice (blueberries, grapes, strawberries, etc.)

Directions:

1. With the fruit that you chose, put in the freezer for 2 to 3 hours in a bowl or container
2. Remove from freezer and enjoy the tasty treat!
